StuG IIIG is amazing as long as you don't get uptiered. If you have the add-on track armor you'll be immune to the 76mm on the KV-1 and T-34 plus the Sherman's short 75mm from the front

He explains how in his stuh video I believe, but you have to go into controls and bind a key to it.

It's "Set target for squadron", under 'Common'. It places that yellow marker in the general area of where you lay your gun sight/binoculars, which gets increasingly less accurate the further away you try to place it. As the name implies, it only works for your squadmates.
