F-5C is a great high tier jet for players to practice to improve the use of guns. Glad you showed the boom and zoom keeping the energy up. Most of my F-5C kills are players bleeding all their speed trying to turn fight everything making them slow an easy to send back to the hanger.

When i was grinding for top tier in the american tech tree i was debating over buying the f5c or the av8a, I kept going back and forth but decided on the f5c, and after the first game in it i knew i made the right choice, Its probably some of the most fun you'll ever have in war thunder air rb.

AV8A is incredibly mediocre for what it is. Climbing is amazing, but that's about it. Missiles are lacking, and the turn time is horrendous. Only good harrier is the FRS, which is squadron only.

It looks so easy when I watch you playing. I’m using this for bombing as I was always shitty on Dogfighting, still, learning day after day. My max kills went from 2 to 3 in a match 😁

Once you learn how to aim and select your targets carefully that's when the f5c reaches it's full potential

I got it for 30 bucks in the spring sale and Im nearly already at the f16 and will unlock it il like a week. Absolute steal, best purchase. Still a premium account is pretty much needed for quick grinding.

I can highly agree its good, people do have to be warned is that your high target because people think your new trash user, i recommend attacking low flying planes aka SU25K and other varient of SU25, dont attack a swarm of A10A especially the late varient as they will launch missiles at you while your distracted, i wish i could say i get 100K SL per game but thats dream for everyone (not all get premium time im broke) and that Dont attack anyone at low speed or else

Its either this or the squadronleopard at top tier that i wanna buy for when i finnally finish my current tree, its either the f-5 amd grind out America air force or the leo which i only have 100k research point left but my clan dont play the game, f-5c for around 50 quid or fully buy the rest of the leopard for 2000 ge/15 quid

i have f5e, its a beast. I get 1-3 kills and dont die until last min where either i am against 5 guys and i kill at least 1 and die or just the game ends. i talismaned it and it was a good choice. But i dont have enough sl ;(

you should review the swiss hunter. Ive played both the hunter and f5c and the hunter just feels so much better to me.

note id make on this video. while this plane is very good, its not a brain dead plane tbh. plus playing for your team often hurts you more than helps since gaijin doesnt give credit for distractin an enemy etc

Tbh, I’m decent with the F5C now but I got the F4S and the radar combat and not dying to literally anything that flies is hard in it. Also I’ll let my insurance company know I need to make some extra payments just in case

The missiles are so bad that you rather would not get them. Otherwise its pretty good and i grinded to 8.7BR with only it until i bought other planes

I have mig23ml and if u want to spend 70$ and your new get f4s if you have some experience get f5c or mig23ml if you don't mind getting Russian plane

@@nesusi4628 Thanks Probably go for F5c because China has the interesting Russian planes in my opinion and I have soon played this game for 3 years. The problem is that the sale is over 100 days away and that I can't research rank 8 with the f5c.

The SPS-K is actually quite good if used right. So yeah I would say its not a bad purchase.

@@hylkevanderhulst5350stay low, use r-60m at 2km both for head-ons and chase. All you literally need is get inside 2 km range and launch.

F5 cant beat a kfir, its way to fast. I have had multiple matches where ive had to go at speeds of mach 1.8 and the f5 cant do a damn thing. They think they are catching because of the edge of the map, but just turn at that speed and its literally gone, and the kfir has every advantage. F5 can dogfight it, can never chase.

The f-5 is just a overall mid jet, the missle are horrible especially for the br you face, the guns dont work from realshatter and the frame is good enough

It's simple climb ti you are above the majority, save you ammo and missles till you think you are garrenteed a kill and always look around you, don't tunnel vision on someone as someone could missle behind you
