In world of tanks that is not that fast to be killed from an opponent. But there are gamemods in WoT. There you can respawn like in WT. My opinion is, that both games are quit good.

@Horst Wessel ye, there is one upper hull plate which is placed slightly on angle, and when you try to shoot into lower place of turret, shell just ricochet or gets eaten by that plate

I absolutely love War Thunder's shell simulation and when it shows what the shell does to explode the tank.

It'a cool and all, but in real life, a shell with no HE filler would be much more effective than in War Thunder. IRL, a solid shot shell would bounce off of the inner walls of the tank like a pinball, but in WT it just disappears after passing through once. IRL, if your tank got penetrated, it was disabled immediately and the crew would bail.

2 years after this video was released I play WT, I used to play WoT from time to time but sadly WoT has became pay to win, premium tanks are more OP than ever and premium ammo makes heavy tanks armour almost useless in most of the situations. It became best to use the premium light tanks with premium ammo. Meanwhile in WT there are premium tanks, but they are still not as OP like the ones in WoT are, in WT premiums are mainly for bigger income to boost your progress. Balance is still not that good (Puma and M4A3 at 2.7, great balance) and AA has too mach penetration (the fabulous pizza boy professionally called OTO R3 T20 FA-HS). Both games are not perfect but War Thunder is more frielndly to free to play players, it just takes much longer to progress.

Except the MM in WoT is terrible in anything above tier 5... if you’re in a tier 6 tank and you get pinned against tier 8 tanks you have to pray that Wargaming’s shitty map design doesn’t get you oneshotted to death

@Lars S altho armor isn't working when you're using Jagdtiger against modern MBT with HEAT-FS, you can still pretty much one-shot it WoT on the other hand, getting uptiered is pain in the ass because your enemy will have far superior HP and DPM

In WOT since you are in sniper mode you can’t see it but with things like howitzers the gun aims up creating the arc effect, it still depends on the reticle Rng wether you hit them or not though

aver no se si soy el unico que es capaz de hacer mucho peso en una partida de tier X con un tier IX (strv-103-B) incluso ganando la partida con 10k de daño, un blindaje tan debil cuando es bien manejado es posible ser un exelente compañero de equipo y hablando de los emparejamientos si bien no es lo mejor de wot lo hace un poco mas interesante, tuve la oportunidad de usar un tier IV contra unos tier VI y por alguna razon da un ambiente de calma el estar en un arbusto esperando a tener tiros, porque ese es un error que cometen varios jugadores, que estan intentando pelear contra tanques 2 niveles mas alto que ellos y pues logicamente acaban muriendo, y entonces se van a los comentarios de estos videos para criticar lo malo que es wot y dicen que se cambiaran completamente a WT, he llegado a ver jugadores que disque se cambiaron completamente a WT jugando wot en mas de una ocasion y cuando revisas su hoja de servicio siguen activos XDDD

I haven't spent a single cent on war thunder. I have over 300 hours in war thunder and just never felt a need to do so. I was stuck with an old laptop for a while and decided to give world of tanks a try. After the first few battles I realised that I could buy shells for real world money. I uninstalled the game.

It's mostly a problem for new players who aren't to sure if they truly like the game or don't know what to buy. But if you're someone like me(I have well over 2000 hours in war thunder) you know what to buy without feeling ript off. And world of tanks didn't have any real competition in the genre for a good while so selling 1 use items for irl money worked, but the game has changed a little from what I've heard and the premshells can no longer be bought with gold.

what he meant is probably the continuous shots on a single area. Since shooting the commander's hatch mostly only kills the commander under normal cases, you can't abusively shoot the same area and kill the whole crew since there's nothing vital there left. Well ofc stuff like the KV-2 and other tanks using HE based shots can kill the whole crew if concentrated on the hatch especially if the ammo storage is behind the commander haha.

I honestly find the WT grind to be way easier, it's so much better to be able to use multiple tanks in one match to research any vehicle I can, instead of having to use one vehicle to research only the one directly after it. Another major factor is that you get WAY more RP from warthunder matches, easily getting thousands if you perform well in arcade. Sim matches get a whole lot, so I honestly find the warthunder grind more tolerable to me.

Well for one, no shit gaijin is greedy Tiger 1s never face cold war except for maybe a few ones gaijin downtiered to balance (PT-76B etc) with the tiger IIs facing cold war but not being useless and requiring more skill as you don't click and shoot. (PS: its called aiming for weakspots, but i don't think you'd understand that considering your skull is thicker than the maus) I don't know much about naval but that's definitely a skill issue. You have to catch them off-guard or aim for their ammo and gunners. ka-50 players have a very large skill issue. Get good. Also ever hear of air to air missiles and counter measures? Its not always after you kill someone your hit by a 1t bomb, drive around the map you camper or hide in bushes or trees so they cant fucking see you.

But the absolute best thing about Warthunder: INFORMATION ACCESS. The in-game format provides one area to test drive vehicles and display hit zones/equipment. You don't need to download a hit zone mod to learn. The other great thing is the co-op modes and single player campaigns. WoT also has CW and Stronghold 'domination' by a few big clans which prevents new clans from having a chance to rise.

About WoT "premium shells", they only really offer better penetration values vs the normal shells. A few years back they were only available to purchase with premium currency bought with real life money. Now they're available for normal in game currency but they're not cheap. I personally keep a mix of 80% regular ammunition, 10% premium ammo (for mirror match-ups or vs heavily armored foes), and 10% HE shells for very obscure situations

I have been playing War Thunder on and off since Alpha.. and I still only have up to about Rank 3 or 4, maybe 5 items unlocked on some trees from being a completely free to play player. I know I have thousands of matches played in Arcade too. It's insane the grind.. I remember in Alpha/Beta back in the old matchmaking system you could unlock things very quickly.. Gaijin put a stop to that fast. People don't remember the game used to be well balanced and not grindy at all, then Gaijin realized they could make a lot of money through greed. That's why I have always refused to pay them any money.

@@tokk0v331Cant tell you how many times that Circular reticle in WoT pissed me off... so many times if that was not a mechanic, would've gotten so many more kills, so much more damage done... especially when I mainly played artillery in WoT, and waiting 20 seconds after firing to shoot an enemy is just... no... with the method in WoT where enemies are spotted depending on your sight range, would work wonders with the Artillery in WoT, but the system with WT where its your eyesight that detects enemies would work wonders in typical battles with WoT. However, when it comes to WoT and WT, you either load up full with premium rounds and "git gud" because of it, or not... and lose 10+ games in a row before you get that one good match where things actually feel balanced.

I have both installed on my rig right now. I really like the WT damage model, but I also really enjoy being in a WoT clan and the frequent events in that game. Getting into and out of a WoT match is much faster, so I tend to play it more often, especially if I am not wanting a long play session. They are really just two very different things at the end of the day.

@@tomi9562 no, it's not the case You need to unlocked (but not purchase it) 2 to 5 tanks only, and you can research all in a tank with different line, which mean that you can unlocked Tiger tank while playing your Panzer IV or Panther

4:30 dude wtf is that bullshit? I genuinely want to know if World of tanks players are ok with that "camouflage" system. Personally I find it weird that some guy standing in an open field is straight-up invisible.

Camo system is based on concealment values and cover, whether or not a tank gets spotted by you is mainly down to view range. Highly skilled players can remain unspotted while spotting others. Wot has a massive skill ceiling so better players are able to do absurdly well.

Little correction: the shot accuracy in war thunder isn't 100%. What i mean by that is: tge inaccuracy is not depending on movement, like in WoT, but instead it's depending on factors like the length of the barrel, as well as the condition/damage of the barrel. Although, normally the inaccuracy is so small that it only makes a real difference at ranges of well over 1 km

An then in wot you just have 25% rng so even if you are point blank you miss every so many shots no matter what, and if you snap shot wildly your gonna hit once every so many shots no skill required

In Realistic Battles, there is also no aim indicator, guns are more unstable, and tanks are much slower and less maneuverable

You forgot to mention that in war thunder it's possible to kill ennemy tanks by shooting at the commander cuppola when you use APHE it works on some tanks
