Anyone else remember this mission being a shitload harder when they were 7?

One of my favorite missions because of the completed city to claim and lots of units. Also, red > blue.

I used to love this mission as a kid because I was able to get red units!

I dont know why, but like for me, red humans looks just awesome

i was amazed by those elfs when i was child, they looked so charismatic for me.. yet they still are.

I couldn't get through this as a child because of those goddamn catapults sploding my landing soldiers

Actually, it is technically possible to edit original campaign maps. The easiest way is using a special program called Wardraft. Thanks to it, you may extract original files(including maps from each campaign) edit them(for maps you may do this via map editor) and replace them.

Is it possible to keep the red as ai controlled and settle another island? But something tells me the ai is passive anyways.

I remember, I lost alot of men attacking dun modr. Those ogres are ridiculousy strong, I had lost a crap load of men killing those bastards. I waited till I had upgraded everything then attacked with several forces. I had around 4 transports full of footmen and archers backed up by at least seven elven destroyers. Those ogres as I said were a pain in the ass to kill, by the time I had won I had lost just over 50 percent of my men. Is it just me or do I really suck at this game.
