i know it's late but i don't care. Find a map you like online (i recommend hive workshop) Put the map file in \Documents\Warcraft III\Maps\Download When you go to play the map it should be in the download directory.

Tomes provide almost no damage since main attributes only give 1 damage per point. Lets assume that 200 tomes dropped in the whole game with an equal distribution between each attribute. That would mean there were roughly 67 tomes of each attribute type. Now lets generously assume that tomes are evenly distributed between +1 and +5 tomes. That means there are roughly 34 +5 main attribute tomes and 34 +1 main attribute tomes. That means if I skipped every single agility tome in the whole game I would've missed a grand total of 204 damage. The shaman claw item that I purchased provided 750 damage and a critical strike chance per claw. As for your second comment there is a food cap so I couldn't create any additional harvesters. In general I try to place my hero where she needs to defend but also is able to gather from mines to maximize gold gain. There is a balance to strike here and it is quite possible that I should've spent more time killing enemies.

That is true but WC3 provides very little information when it comes to attacks per second so I don't know how much the true dps increase would be. Another thing to keep in mind is that attack speed is less effective when you have more of it. On top of that there most likely is an attack rate cap which means any additional attack speed past that point does nothing. For example, lets assume that 1 point of agility increases your attack rate by 1%, my hero has an attack rate cap of 5 APS, and my hero had a base attack rate of .75 APS. In this scenario it would only take 667 agility to max out attack speed bonuses meaning that additional agility would have no impact on attack speed whatsoever. At the end of the game my hero had over 800 agility so I think it is quite likely that she was capped on attack speed which would mean that the agility would only increase my damage by 1 per point and nothing else.
