I love how they went through the effort of making characters look different the the unit they're based on, like Vol'jin looks different the Witch Doctor, etc.

the model was good, but the spell animation, aura, terrain, and environment suckk so much that made the model doesnt fit with the whole game

I feel like they added too much extra details to some models, Misha is looking way better without those armor pieces and paint on his face for example

It's funny... The grunts shoulder armour is on the less effective side in reforged. It should be on the side where he is holding the axe, the side that's gonna be more towards the enemy...

A problem i have with all the reworks is that they have pretty much toned down all the saturation and light levels of all the colors. All the new models are so dark and detailed, but it doesn't really matter because all the details get lost in a mess of what feels like clutter and it's not easy to see when it's just one unit in an army. The old models were almost always better for visual recognition and for being iconic.

I feel like they need to swap belts of Cairne and standard Tauren Chieftain, since Cairne isn't part of the Horde when you first meet him, but he already somehow has Horde insignia as his buckle. No such problem for TC since he's a hero of the Horde fraction.

I really felt like the new models lost any and all resemblance of a Blizzard/Warcraft game. The styling and everything looks like something a 3rd year CGI student would make. They should have just taken the Heroes of the Storm models and used them. Those models feel faaaaaaaaar more suited for an updated Warcraft Remake

I don't know why they didn't add the drumming animation for the kodo beast.

The new models are great, but I just really prefer the old graphics over the new. The old graphics have so much more character and life, you can immediately tell what kind of personality each character has. A good example of this: Arthas. With the old graphics, you can clearly see the difference in his personality from his character portrait alone. When he's on the Human side, he normally looks somewhat content and ordinary, but once he's with the scourge, he has a constant look of anger and disgust, sneering and twitching with contempt as he speaks, something that the new models don't quite capture. Thrall speaks slowly and chooses his words, fitting his character as intelligent and cautious, whilst his brother Grom speaks quickly and is constantly looking down with a Kubric stare, showing his rage and lack of patience. Don't get me wrong, the new models look good, but they're just lacking that extra layer of character the old models have. Some new animations would go a LONG way in giving them more life.

I know its a video game, but, why only shoulder pad? how come they are quite tanky with just a shoulder pad??
