Well, this orc campaign is canon too. The human campaign is going to start where the orc campaign ends from what I can tell.

Well, the last of the missions we've seen from the demo. I'm curious to see what the future missions will throw at us. (I mean, having played the og game, I have an idea, but I wonder what curveballs and optional objectives the team have thrown in)

I commend Captain Meryn's bravery in buying time for the people of Hillsbrad, but if I were in his boots I'd remain in Hillsbrad and use the local barracks to train my troops. I will have to make the Magistrate realize the error of his ways by allowing the Horde to attack Hillsbrad. Sure the civilians will still be at risk, but Hillsbrad either had more soldiers or not.

Yeah, I'd have established my camp right next to Hillsbrad both to better defend the town and to be able to keep an eye on the Magistrate so he doesn't do stupid stuff. That way, the Horde would have to attack a strongly fortified and defended Hillsbrad rather then a weakly defended Hillsbrad and a moderately defended Stormwind base. I'd also have had the local naval forces aid the battered Gilnean ships and help get them to port to be repaired so they can help keep the Horde from landing to attack Hillsbrad.

A lot has been done: custom textures, more enviroment objects, more realistic scale and closer camera shots to highlight the details.

I found it takes some time to get used to; but at least for singleplayer I prefer Reforged over Classic graphics now.

its 14 chapters + 3 secret missions and very long interludes. I am halfway through. I estimate the entire campaign takes 15-20 hours to complete.

I have to say while the orc units and ships defintively have the feel of WC2, man ht's a nostalgia trip, I'm a bit dispaointed that the human warship seen seems a bit mre underwhelming. Would have loved to see the iconic elven destroyer or big front plated battleship look in this style. Maybe they come later.. Still the attention to detail and commitement to quality's otherwise pretty staggering. I admit I'm bit curious... Is this going to follow the original campaign to the end ? As it seems to wants itseslf somewhat "lore accurate" that means the orc eventually loose meaning the end of their campaign can't be canon, so.. wonder how that'll be handled Will we switch to humans mid way for the counter offensive once we go through the bit of orc campaigns that are canon or do we go full orc victory ?

@@user-pc2mf5du9b What do you mean by yet? 13700KF is pretty new and fast^^ most of the time i got 60-90 fps which is enough. For lower fps i just imagine its how the video was processed in adobe premiere

Hearing the civilians cry in fear with the women saying 'What did we ever do to you?' makes me feel bad for the people of Hillsbrad as they're butchered by the Horde. It builds up the Horde as monsters but it also shows how the Magistrate utterly failed his people by not evacuating the civilians and fortifying the town plus he begged for his life like a coward, no wonder Rend and Zul'jin scoffed at him and said that he lacked honour.
