Overall 585 points. If you get Freeguild Command Corps you get to 1070 points, drop the Soul Shepherd and it's exactly 1000 points with two boxes and all unique models (exept the dogs).

I've been waiting for these. Cool Witch hunter warband like Mordheim. I definitely need to get that issue. I want to see that Eshin Skaven warband too.

Might try them with the Wildcorpse Hunters. Hexbane seems good and the dogs are just cheaper for the same thing if you aren't using the Kill command leader.

Doesn't look a very strong warband but a fun one to play. Do you think the quite pock ability can deny an opponent from scoring an objective? Also does the damage apply also to the already damaged warrior? It need a faq/errata.

Most of the victory conditions are well phrased "A player wins the battle as soon as the enemy leader is taken down." So it's unlikely killing your own guys will help, but there might be an angle on a poorly phrased tournament pack. Based on the wording which says "each other fighter0 I'm pretty sure the initial target doesn't get the explosive damage which is a shame.

How would a complete list actually look like if I want to combine Wildercorps Hunters with this crew?

Good question! In ways Hexbane's and Wildercorps are similar as you've got Doggos and a mix of ranged and melee. Adding Hexbane's lets you focus on an aspect I think, so you can run the doggos as extra Wildercorps to supplement the box. The Arbalester and Quiet Pock would work quiet well together to take down targets at range. I do think Haskel is worth it with his chunky 20 wounds and Aemos is a nice bit of damage which the Wildercorp mostly lack. I think something this would be fun: ``` ---------- Warband Roster 995pts | 12 fighters - Wildercorps Warden with Grizzled Trailhound (115pts, Hero) - Wildercorps Leatherhide with Troggslayer Spear (100pts) - Wildercorps Leatherhide with Troggslayer Spear (100pts) - Trailblazer with Twin Crossbows (90pts) - Trailhound (60pts) - Trailhound (60pts) - Trailhound (60pts) - Trailhound (60pts) - Trailhound (60pts) - Trailhound (60pts) - Haskel Hexbane (125pts) - Aemos Duncarrow (105pts) ---------- Generated on Warcrier.net ``` Although I suspect the Wildercorp would benefit more from just a single chunky fighter.

Looking through this again, I think the comparison between the two warbands is interesting. Wildercorps dogs cost 5 more but have abilities. Haskel is like Wildercorp leader with axe but Hexbane costs 10 more and has ranged option. Brydget is like the Trailblazer with twin crossbows. Quiet Pock is a cheap shorter range version of the Arbalester. Aemos is a Leatherhide with no reach and slightly better damage and wounds for a little more points. I think someone has been copying their homework XD

@@optimalgamestate Thanks for the list and advice, appreciate it! There definitely is a bit of a copy/paste with Hexbane overall but I think I will try it out anyways, even if it "only" adds some more visual flair and some minor stat-changes to the Wildercorps. For something better and a bit more helpful, would someone like Calthia Xandire be a good fit?

@@Mike-er5ws Yeah, I think Calthia is always a great fit no matter the warband. I would normally have said the Kurnothi Huntmaster as an option but some of the recent CoS guys are also interesting, the marshall with heirloom weapon and the arch-knight both look interesting.
