Today I'm doing a super thorough clear out of my closet! From dresses to cardigans to tops to skirts to pants, I try on some pieces to decide if I should keep, sell or donate my clothing. I am certainly not a minimalist but I like to keep my clothing collection organised, I definitely decluttered a significant amount while showing you almost every piece of clothing I own, I have a pretty curated closet so it wasn't super extreme but I do feel it gets a little brutal at times! Marie Kondo I hope you're proud of me :,) So happy to clear out my wardrobe to be more inline with my personal style and color analysis! And make room for some new investment pieces hehehe

I lost almost 60kg over this last year (april 2022 to april 2023) and finally started getting new clothes and monthly have been clearing my clothes of things that don't fit 😅 it's pretty crazy trying on my old clothes and being able to fit 2x of me in there. I did keep some things and wear them as super oversized now.

Wow, well done! I wish I could do the same, I need to lose some weight but I’m not able to exercise so that complicates it.

I’m at the stage where I would much rather be picky about my clothing then not picky enough and have clothes that I don’t wholeheartedly enjoy. Also the sneeze dab got me😂

When you said "doona" I was like 🤔 Im not quite sure what we call the big blankie, I just say, hey I gotta find the cord for the heatie blanket 🤣 Although my sis did crochet me a huge chunkie blanket that was my winter blanket this year. I wish I had a solid fashion sense, but Im all over the place 😂

I am of two minds, love to watch the declutter and would love to watch what is purchased during the Asia trip. In the U.S. we are going the other way into Spring/Summer, but (I live on the East Coast of the U.S.) I still am wearing sweaters.

I just decluttered my closet myself and posted a bunch of cute things to Poshmark and Depop. (Some stuff still donated as well) It’s nice to have company while doing so ❤

lololololol mentioning the bowed rail this time :D Yeah the pickiness over various colors of white is also me -- is this bone or milk or ivory white? etc. Oooo the blue floral polo with white boots and that blue cardi--heckyes! the cardi knocks down the formality vibes too. Pink jacket with hearts is danged cute--wear over fitted white bodycon maybe? play up the sleek/boxy comparison.

I was shocked when you talked about the bodycon dresses feeling too formal. To me, they feel the exact opposite because they are so plain that I always find them way too casual for me. It's really interesting to see how people have such different perspectives when it comes to fashion. I am a big fan of white tops and dresses, too. During the warmer months, they just look amazing and suit the season so much.

I live in Texas where it is hot most of the year. We get a few months if cooler weather with a week or so of true winter coldness. The struggle to look cute in the summer heat is real. Most of the time you see girls in workout clothes because of the wicking properties. It is just to hot for anything else.

If you don’t like ironing, definitely try steaming your clothes. As someone who has no motivation, I feel like steaming is more effortless than ironing

Love your video💜💜💜 Your "Doona" is probably closer to the scandinavian "Dyne" - like specifically thick & meant for winter/cold season? In my experience duvets and comforters are pretty thin in comparison to a doona/dyne.

Are your cardigans light weight enough that hanging them doesn't pull the shoulders out? I have to keep all mine in a drawer so they don't gain the shape of the hanger.

A dyne (don't know how you would spell it in English, but this is how it's spelled in Danish) is absolutely a thing in some other countries, don't know how many though 🤔 but it is in Denmark 😅
