Personally, i am Greek, i live in Greece, in Argos, the place where Hercules and Perseus lived,Agamemnon and Mycenae is near Argos. But my point is that finally i have an explanation about what i feel living here.. Sometimes i walk through ancient monuments and places with ancient stones etc. and i feel something most people dont, i feel the aura, i feel like there is something in these ancient lands that attracts me and my spirit, i feel like its something divine and magical. For most of the people its just stones, but for me is something much more beyond humanity.. i stand near ruins of temples and i feel the energy it makes me feel like im living when those temples were still standing tall and great.. thank you about everything Wardruna and Einar for explaining me things i couldnt explain to myself and for making me feel more connected with the past..! Im a fan of you 4-5 years now, and i will never get bored of you, i hope ill live the moment to meet you someday and have the luck to watch a concert live! Nature worshippers are all brothers and sisters, even if it's Odin or Zeus, nature is nature whatever the name.. Youre all fantastic!

As a Bulgarian, I can confirm. Walking through the woods and mountains, lakes and rivers, old settlements and ruins and ancient sacred places there is a feeling of higher existence... that you are beyond an individual unit but rather an indivisible part of nature and history. You become one in peace with nature and in peace with yourself. When I look at the ancient Thracian ritual sites or the mighty medieval forts, old towns, the land where my ancestors lived and died, I become more stoic, calm and wise, as my ancestors were. When I climb the tall mountains or roam the deep woods I feel as if I am actually present, in this moment, existing. It's an otherworldly experience that you rarely feel in modern life... but nature can heal

Fighting mental health for over 1,5 years. I always looked around me for help, for a reason to push forward. For the people around me I could keep pushing sure, but only in the last few weeks I came to realize that the solution is going for me. It is okay that some days I hate life, but on good days I think more and more about the questions I have for myself. I start to turn into myself more and more. Painfull but I learn from my memories, my mistakes and everything else. Slowly becoming my old self again, and later in life go beyond that. Thank you for these words, somehow it helped me acknowledge that I was doing something sensible.

The way that I see it, is that knowledge is the seeds you find when you're out in the world, reflecting and communing with it-- people watching in busy cities, sitting near burial mounds in nature, standing in a vast open plain for minutes at a time. You harvest these seeds, and then plant them in your wisdom soil: your soul. Perhaps your sou(i)l?

We are sooo lost and disconnected in our "modern lives" that nowadays anyone trying to connect the past, the ancestors (so we know who we were and then we know where we are going) sounds like a messiah. We are all starving for some spiritually in our lives.
@Vikingr4Jesus5919
@Vikingr4Jesus5919 3 жыл бұрын
Because we live not merely by 'flesh' but by the spirit also. Mankind was spiritually formed, so living just by what we 'see' is like starving our inner souls. What I find odd is that things like the Bible are FULL of spiritual things, a lot of which connects with what this man has said (meditation, prayer, looking for answers...etc), and the Bible is more that available to Western people...but they have rejected it. It's a spiritually-inspired book, you cannot understand it without the Spirit of its Author God. This man in this video is actively seeking for that which fills him spiritually, and honestly I'd rather walk that path with him than the average Western person who completely ignores their spiritual life. You say he is like a messiah? I think he's actively seeking himself for the Messiah, and his endeavors have just inspired others like yourself. But don't confuse the seeker of the Messiah for the Messiah Himself. Which makes me curious, mate. What are your thoughts on the Bible, if any?

@@Vikingr4Jesus5919 awesome comment man. You are so right. We are not just bodies. How in the hell can pure physical matter come up with the "abstract?" How can our bodies yearn for things that are non physical and strive for concepts that are non physical like calculus. There is something more that makes us tick. Now I love Wardruna I love their music I like the rustic feel but I am very careful as to not stray to far into his thinking. Yes, nature is beautiful and many people see God in nature; myself included. However, we cannot focus so much on the gift that we forget the gift giver. What Einar is doing is forgetting where Nature came from. He has every right to believe what he wants and I will continue to support his music but I cannot help but say there is some misguidedness going on. Do not focus so much on Nature that you forget who put it there. And for any Atheists on here let me just say, the day you can tell me how life came from a molten lava planet I will shut up. Something cannot come from nothing, it takes more faith to be an atheist than it does to believe in God.

@@Vikingr4Jesus5919 he said our ancestors, when we try to listen, sound like A messiah, not the man in the video ;-). In my opinion the bible is a tool constructed by men, full of miraculous stories and well, mainly written to manage society. If you wanted to find the spiritual meaning of it, you'd have to go back and study its origins. I appreciate christians who can relate to a sort of Animism or Pantheism, as God is everywhere and everything, so everything has to be god. Divinity is all around us, and we're part of it. It's that simple.
@noctiloucous
@noctiloucous 3 жыл бұрын
@@CriticalMach what if god is nature? "Nothing" can't exist because anything is simpler than nothing. Try to create a vacuum full of nothing, you won't succeed. Even what we call a vacuum is flooded with neutrinos... So yea i do not believe earth came out of nothing, and neither did life. Life on earth began with the first splitting, the first movement of a cell and then evolved. The universe is sooo full of space, probably trillions and trillions of miles away there are other forms of what we call and perceive as life. And as everything is connected, the information we needed to develop has always been there. Where did it all come from? There is no such thing as beginning and end; compare it with the circulating and repeating procedure of one year or moon cycles. Now, the bible also speaks of Eternity, right?
@CriticalMach
@CriticalMach 3 жыл бұрын
@@noctiloucous I’ll go back to Science. 1) An object at rest will remain at rest until acted upon. 2) Energy can never be created nor destroyed. Where does the moon gets its orbital velocity from? What’s the cause of it? Formation of Earth and gravity. Okay what started the velocity of the galaxy? etc. etc. Eventually you will reach a point where something had to have moved everything else. And that something has to exist outside of the laws of nature. I agree God is nature because all life is sacred and created with a purpose and divine will.

That’s true, esoteric art gives many answers to past esoteric traditions, so deeply rooted in contemporary civilisation. Of course, mystic ways are not those dark ways of exploring our past. On a contrary, they illuminate the darkness of our knowledge about the past. Nature and environment are the best source of truth. Just have to be close to it, touch it and feel it. Lovely philosophical speech. Full of direct “experiments “ in the nature. An enterance to majestic Wardruna’s music. Enjoyed!

After listening to Einar's words (and music), I can not wait to get out in the nature again and just be there. Right now I am not allowed to leave my town because of quarantine, but at least there is a beautiful forest by the river close to my house. Once, after meditation besides a lake, I looked at the forest and I had this feeling and like knowledge that everything in the nature is individual and unique, but at the same time it is all connected, it is all one. It was a magical experience, and now every time I go out into the nature I can connect to it by having this feeling and knowledge. A lot of people, in my opinion, nowadays are too disconnected form the nature and their roots. Thank you, Einar, for sharing your music and wisdom with us.

We are all animistic all the time, we just don't recognize it. Whenever you say things like "today my computer is not cooperating with me", or "my car has always been faithful" - it's right there. It is unavoidable to see the personhood of things (material or not) when the only way we can see them is through a lens of our own.

It's very nice and refreshing to have somebody so excited about their past and their history and their roots and their emotions and feelings and connections. In a time where we are made to feel guilty for having Western Traditions at all, it's a great time to feel appreciating of what our past is and what it means to us. Just as people's past in Roots in history mean to them no matter where they are in the world. We are all connected to our Roots and our Roots may run differently but they all connect in the same ground period I just wish people would respect that and stop trying to tell others they are not allowed to have their roots. The original versions of the great Norse legends are some of the greatest stories of personal triumph ever told. Within these stories are echoes of the world that existed before the Norse people. A world that was swiftly and brutally taken from their ancestors. New challenges arose, that threatened to destroy what was left of the people. The people endured. The people survived. The people thrived. The people became Norse.

Who will listen to the trees, the animals and birds, the voices of the places of the land? As the long forgotten peoples of the respective continents rise and begin to reclaim their ancient heritage, they will discover the meaning of the lands of their ancestors. That is when the invaders of the North American continent will finally discover that for this land, God is red.” - Vine Deloria Jr From "God is Red" Thank you my brother. Your words prove that the above quote, written by Vine deloria Jr in the early 70s proves to be quite prophetic. I myself am mestizo, I am descent of Celtic (Clans McPherson, McLeod and McDonald), Nordic (House of Oldenburg), Slavic (House of Christovic) and American Indian (Nande [Apache] and Nahua [Aztec]) peoples I honor all of my ancestors. I know your words are true.🙏

More people should realise that the gamle trygg, the 'old' paths of our ancestors are not about the past, but about the future and how we want to perceive it. Everything is connected and with soul. We should respect not just our ancestors but the living world we are part of. Takk fyrir Einar.
