when u kill a zombie indoor, there is a chance that a key spawns, then u dont have to worry about breaking down doors and walls

Put the generator on the second level outdoors next to the section of house by your garden. Then it will be even more centrally located.

Think of the ease and safety; going back to base late at night when it's super dark and just getting to the sheet rope at the store! Safety so much earlier and in a pavement-covered clearing!

@@jonesy1315 I agree, I have multiple sheet ropes to the different levels when I build my main base. Fire has a phobia of falling from the sheet ropes.

If you are cooking with proteins (rabbit, fish, meat, seafood, etc), cook them first. then used the cooked ingredients to make the dish (roast, stirfry, etc). you get double benefit of cooking xp, and I think doing that improves the modifiers in the eventual dish you make.

22:25 That's the entrance to Merrill Garner's base above Bessie at the time stamp. Well, until he died lest week. There's tall fencing going almost all the way around that area with the two warehouses. Not any good loot unfortunately..

Ethan, it takes a minute getting the combat method down. Once you get a feel for the pacing, it gets better.

I was going to say the same thing. it'll just click one day after a while of playing and you'll be in the zone and things will start to make more sense/behave the way you expect. Be patient and try to enjoy it until it gets to be really fun.

I did the same thing when I started! 😀 After a bunch of successful runs I started moving stuff back to normal. I raised the population a couple months ago, but ended up putting it back to normal. Normal is still hard enough for me!

it took me many survivors lol many a meat shields to even get to a week in the game, but i'm stubborn in games so i like that it was difficult and didn't go easy on me its honestly what keeps me coming back

I actually didn't know how it worked so I looked it up and; you have to wait over 75 tiles away for at least an hour of in-game time for the traps to have a chance.

it does, immensely lol but i do love a good tomato spray, sucks really. top down iso and a 3060ti and its a really heavy cpu bound problem. curse my old gen i7!!!! dammm youuuuu
