An overview of the Dormizone aka player apartment/housing in Warframe that is accessible after completion of the new Angels of the Zariman quest. This video covers the general appearance, as well as interactivity of the area from the standpoint of a decorator. In particular there are two skyboxes accessible from the Dormizone.

Two things I want to address: 1) I know some people will ask, "Vash, where's the venom I expected? You were completely right about player housing last month!" and the answer is: there's really no point in being pissed about it. It is EXTREMELY unfortunate that it did indeed play out how I said it would, but the best thing we can do rn is give good feedback and hope for better additions and changes in the future. 2) I know I said pot, and I know it's a pan, forgive me.

This may be a good plan. We can access most things like arsenal and operator ect. It just needs a bit more of a push to become more than just another decor space and be an actual fully-fledged hub. It would be possible to attach a dry dock and other things to the Zariman too considering how huge the ship is.

@@VashCowaii same here. It would especially fit their narrative from the quest. "This is your home..." ect. If we're going to call it home so literally, might as well use it as a means to connect all the different aspects of the game into a single hub.

Some things cannot be forgiven, there is a harsh difference between a rounded bottom piece of kitchenware and a flat cooking appliance. I cannot in good conscience continue to consume content in an unhindered manner when I have this information gnawing away at the back of my mind. To think such a thing could come to pass in today's day and age! I require a bad youtuber apology that isn't actually an apology, but a way to flame me and at the same time talk about your sponsor Muphoto, the app to turn photos into music if you wanted to do that for some reason, and listen to a visual that has no benefit.

One of the NPCs post quest talks about opening plant biomes to place, killing everything inside. She’s surprised to learn they’re resealed. I’m betting that’s the connection to soil purification.

That's actually closer to the Duviri Paradox's skeleDax's swords lmao I have a feeling that you might end up actually going to Duviri through this door or maybe something close to it. Maybe the Drifter placed them there once after coming to our timeline.

One hopes that is so. Alas, this is DE. I can say as a wallet warrior that if they don't have duviri paradox done by the next major update, I'm fucking done. With this update, I'm loving everything except gyre. Just not my playstyle. She's a great frame and all, just not my style.

I liked the fact that before the hotfixs, there used to see SOME furniture, wall art and the Lunaro trophies, but for some reason, DE cleared them out and left the whole room empty. So now I'm just a little sad

If you're talking about the bedroom, I noticed that as well, but I believe it's actually just a bug where the decor sticks around from the quest. After a relog, for me they disappeared before the hotfix. Almost mentioned it in the vid, but figured nobody would complain about it after literally just reloading the zone again, so I didn't bother.

There is no point in doing anything with this dormizone... if we could live there like we can on the orbiter and drifter camp it could be nice but til then... why bother

You're preaching to the choir man. I already went into every aspect of why dormizones were not worthwhile as they were, last month in my "why I'm worried" prediction vid. I didn't bother shredding the negative aspect of the dorms in this video bc there's no point in beating the dead horse. If you read the pinned comment I touched on this as well: best thing we can do right now is give good constructive feedback, and hope for improvements in the future.

I would've liked to be able to spawn there instead of orbiter when I login. It seems a little odd to me we are still floating around in a small ship lol ..or is my warframe doing missions without me o_o

It's basically just another environment to decorate just because. There's no real point in decorating outside of the fact that you want to, so I don't really see the point in complaining about it.

It look nice. We definitively will be able to grow plants. maybe weekly boost for your frame ? Also DE need to make it that you can use this instead of your orbiter as a spawn point/menu. We need also Weapons "tray" so you can display your favorite weapons (or replicas).

Theres not much functionality in the Dormizones compared to the orbiter tbh. BUT I FINALLY HAVE A PLACE TO STASH ALL MY FLOOFS.

I watched the trailer to the paradox again and it makes more sense now than before i think when it will come the operator and drifter will get a big Upgrade on weapons they can use

I can see them implementing some kind of swap ability in the future so you can flip between op and drifter in mission. Though there would have to be a gamplay reason for this like only the drifter can use the swords while op has some other weapon or mechanic

Your videos are honestly so helpful. I've been playing this game since 2016 and have always just been in a ghost clan with some friends. Last year I was really wanting to try and recruit and build up the dojo, but I figured I should do some decorating and things first before coming out of ghost status. Never really got around to it, and now I'm just finding your channel and you go so in depth on everything it makes it easy to understand some of the ins and outs of dojo decorating.

When you are in elevator there is a box near the big window. On that box there is a imahe of the horse that is clean and we can see him best in there and that horse is from Duviri Paradox universe…

From that out of bounds skybox view you can get a very good idea of the Zarimans size. Looked from further away you can see by the shapes what part of the ship that is by comparing it to the Orbiter view and then moving in closer you can to see the docking areas that we fight on in missions sticking out.

imagine if upon unlocking our dormizone, we were able to instantly teleport to it with minimal load time from our orbiter's personal quarters, and vice versa, like with how we can do so with our railjack and orbiter. i would also love to be able to sit down on the stools and chairs or lie down on the bed as operator / drifter

I know this is from 2 years ago, but the soil purification ended up being for Duviri flora, which you can pick up on Teshin's cave if the echoes are shown on the dormizone.

soil purification refered as well in the , second dream, war within and in the zariman reputiation, so if you replay the story missions, these you get hinted, what that stuff is about! since purifierers been sabotaged and exact details give in the main story quest and zariman reputation rank ups. the errors are related to the replayable new war quest items that uses these resources, so its quest locked content thats what the errors are about!

I didnt even think you could put stuff in the lobby. Why cant we use the area with the trees? Ill probs make a huge pile of trash and make it a shrine for the MIGHTY SEER. My orbiter and dojo are amazing so yeet this space for now

They completely decoration proofed the outside now. Once you do clip outside, there's black boxes that force you to exit decoration mode. You can decorate about an inch outside of the vista suite window so that's cool I guess... 😆 The only way you'd be able to decorate them now is if you can somehow clip above the surrounding black boxes that force you out of decoration mode.

they patched this, its still possible to get out but they have some invisible kill box that will push you outof decoration mode if your camera touches it

They gutted going out of bounds in the dormizone. Can't noclip out now as there's bounding boxes that kick you out of decoration mode.

also on the side carefull with clottering up your dormazone cooking eating area, due to it being used in new war replay quest and can so break that quest if you over clutter it that why it has less space due to activ quets assets in it! in the end you actually have even less space to build fill and clutter in. since you mostly only have that reputation key locked space, rest carefull, it will and can break quests!

im late, but the 1360 might be because of the drifter cutscene that takes place there or something and they just have the stuff required for it stored off screen... i dont see why this would be done; but its a possibility.

Someone was able to get their warframe behind the door with tensions sword forcing it to render and they found a wall with a dev texture and door that said “PH Enter void” it does nothing yet though

Hey vash I know its been 2 months since this video and this was your most recent warframe video, but I figured this to be a good place to ask since I dunno where else (maybe theres a dojo discord or something). But I'm trying to recreate dark eater midir from dark souls 3 in one of my dojo rooms and I was wondering if there's a way to give decorations a slightly different hue than their default colors, like maybe something with those text wall things or something. It's really unfortunate to me that I cannot just straight up change the color of some of the narmer decorations to have a dark purple look to them because a lot of those I feel could go perfectly with midir (especially the narmer eye things, they look amazing).

Sadly there is not. You can kind of achieve that result by playing with room lighting, but otherwise no. Steve made a comment a while back about wanting to give us advanced lighting controls for the dojo, but I think that's a ways into the future yet. Dojo discord is linked in the description.

Gotta reload. IF you just finished the quest, it takes a few reloads before the quest furniture in the bedroom will swap out with the empty room.

Lets be honest Devs don't care about Dojo and decoration zones, I feel like is the last thing in their mind, so don't get your hopes up waiting for good stuff to come with new content for decorations and dojo, consider yourself lucky if there is something new.

They do though, actually. Not high priority ofc, but they do. I've even had the opportunity to help them with it before. It's not that they don't care, it's that they often don't have the time or resources to do what we want, but they will, every once in a while, set aside time for it.

Useless space...don't goto room on orbiter..why would a decorate a space on a planet. Zariman ok but useless after u get weapons and a second gyre for helminth. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Suite*. Like a VIP Suite in a hotel. Vista is pretty much "really nice view" and Suite is essentially "really nice room". So Vista Suite just means really nice room with a view.

Just depends on the type of players really. I agree with you, however at the same time, I've spent more time on dojo content, than I have on the base game itself. Not saying you're wrong, just saying that this type of content gets attention for a reason, I'm not the only crazy person.

You don't know why DE would stop you from decorating an area that you call "out of bounds" that requires you to break out of the clearly defined edge of the game? Really? Do you not know what out of bounds means? I mean sure more creative access is better but why bother with bounds to begin with if you want people out there decorating it?
