Great video as always, but here a few things about rivens you didn't mention that I often see questions about: -Rivens are not bound to a single weapon, but the weapon group ("normal" version, prime, vandal, MK1, ....) -To complete a challenge you need to equip the riven (actually the most common mistake I see with players new to rivens) -When rerolling a riven you can chose between the new version or keeping the old one, so worst case when rerolling is keeping the same riven and losing kuva -You can only equip one riven per weapon at any time (why am I actually watching a tutorial after hundreds of hours of playing warframe? I guess that means you do a really great job in making interesting videos :D )

Love your videos Leyzar! And I agree with you saying its like slots. Maybe they could have it where it is awarded at the end of the mission so boosters dont effect it, instead of it going in as a resource during the mission.

If we had to option to change one stat at a time with a cost of 100k Kuva per slot increasing each time would that be too tough? I would rather work towards a long term goal vs playing the RNG game.

Is kuva basically endo but for only rivens

So, riven disposition does not affect how many atributes/stats the weapon will have? i mean, for this example, the atomos has 2 out 5 but it has 3 attributes: CC, Dam and WR. If i am not misundertanding , it only affects how powerful the stats wil be, right?

I think the whole Riven concept is interesting, what I never liked about it is how they can change on the fly something you worked for - I think that if a player works for something spending hundreds and hundreds hours of gameplay trying to get an item, changing it on the fly like that(not taking into account weapons that are strong enough to break the game, bugs, and etc) is kinda bad. Maybe this is why I only have 2 rivens(rolled several times) while being MR 22. But I hope the new approach they said they were taking(giving riven disposition based on power instead of popularity) works better. And I really wish I had this video around when i first got into the game and didn't knew what rivens were and what for. Amazing working on teaching stuff for the community as always Leyzar.

Hey Leyzar, question about what you said about acquiring riven slots: "You can get riven capacity or riven slots though a number of ways" Is there actually another way to acquire riven slots besides the market? The wiki doesn't say anything else.

Tiberon had very low crit chance but decent raw damge and stauts chance coupled with low recoil before they buffed it to 25% crit chance with the release of Tiberon Prime. Therefore, a lot people didn't like to use it 'cuz it almost never crits with the old version. However, it was one of my most used weapon back in the day got me through a lot missions still one of my favourite weapon.

I think if you equip the unveiled riven to a weapon it should be that weapon but the stats should be rng, allowing for the gamble but making it not so impossible to get that one you want

ive never gotten a riven from sortie, its either the avyan treasure or kuva

my question is , if i had veiled rivens and their challenge is almost impossible to do (i have to kill 17 enemies in a row without touching the ground with a pistol) , will it bring higher stats as hard as they are or just random? if so shall i work my ass off to unveil them or just sell them as trash rivens?

Kronen prime got 5/5 Riven disposition and its an amazing weapon even without a Riven. I got 1 for mine kronen, now im just doing 300k damage on red slide crit

Hey I have a question about rerolling rivens, does the polarity of the mod have anything at all to do with the stats it carries? Does that mean as long as im rerolling I will always have a chance of a good mod?

I love the riven system in Warframe. It may not have gone strictly according to plan, and things like crazy-powerful rubico and gram rivens may not be ultimately desirable. But the way it encourages the use of weaker weapons, making nearly anything in the game viable with the a half-decent roll, is a huge boon to Warframe. With a riven I can build a weapon in an entirely different way from how I normally might, encouraging a variety of playstyles and thereby enriching the game experience. There's a roaring trade in rivens on the in-game trade chat; even OP rivens of inappropriate disposition help to stimulate the game's internal economy. As for the way kuva is used to roll rivens, it's definitely slot-machine like but as long as there isn't a direct way to buy rolls with real money I think I'm okay with it. There's a big difference between asking for a premium to pay for a one-off chance at something good, and suggesting the use of an internally tradable currency to pick up a resource booster.

I could never get interested in Rivens, I can't be bothered to do the tedious challenges to unveil them and I definitely can't be bothered to farm Kuva forever. I'm happy just ignoring them. This is a good overview of them though, I didn't know that there were Rivens with two and three positives since I only ever get Rivens with two positives and a negative.

Good video m8. Rivens are not that necessary for the "endgame" unless you wanna stay 3 o 4 hrs at a survival or defence mission. Let's be fair, few people does that. Even in arbitration people usually stay just one hour or 1:40. Not that much, and the player will do just fine if well moded.
