@@messityler4121 ummm.... Easier than Saryn or Equinox? I think not. Excal is squishy and must FACE the enemy to kill them. It has to be deliberate, no killing a crowd or enemies two rooms over and behind. No he is not a " easy " frame.

@@harcheryyt1662 2nd ability, blocks 2 attacks, once blocked it gives you 1 second invincible, so if you got 300+ ability strength it will goes up to about 20 attacks block, you can recast it whenever you want, so yeah almost like undying if you do have energy to cast it

The overall changes were great to excal but unless you use a shieldgate build to survive i feel you still need helminth abilities

@@nanoblivion excal cant go levelcap without a way to spam shieldgate. enemies at any lv over 500-1000 one tap your hp so you need stuff like vazarin, rolling guard and shieldgate to stay alive.

not really, the way it works is your cat saves you from death but it dies in the process, however if you have Tek Assault equiped it gives your cat a 60% chance to ingore death too, therefore as long as your cat stays alive procs this mod you can cheat death many times in a row

If you dont know what the helminth system is, it s just a way to get a different ability on your kit. For my case i had elemental ward from chroma on my excal. That and i played on Steel Path mode, where enemies get +100 base level, +250% health +250% armor and shields

Couldn t really fit it in, and i don t think it s that necessary.

Heat reduces armor by 50%. At higher levels it means that enemy has 95% of resist instead of 99%. So no, heat is absolutely not slash. But if you'll have some reliable armor strip - sure it will do better because of better scaling. Otherwise heat+corrosive do even better against armored enemies because of stripping up to 82,5% of armor (if I remember it correctly). Also, corrosive has +50% advantage against ferrite armor which is typical for Grineer (except for bombers, they have alloy armor with radiation vulnerability, but they have twice less hp than gunners so that's not an issue really). So there's 3 choices against armor: Slash + viral for higher levels in general Heat + viral if you have reliable armor strip Heat + corrosive for lower sp levels (up to 500, I guess)

if you have the umbra forma base excal is better, it s mostly about polarities and i didn t feel like going on a forma spree at the time

@@theanonymous118 I was wrong actually, I just saw that they fixed Umbra deactivating Exalted Blade when entering Operator form, so I guess there's no downside to Umbra anymore.

-the synapse is just a arcane dex statstick -the epitaph is a normal 7 status primer build that you can find anywhere -for the exalted melee it s the average blood rush condition overload corrosive build, with also Healing return for the sick heals

your build must be quite different from my own because i use way too much energy to keep gloom and exalted blade up or even use terrify

​@@theanonymous118 I use Emergence Dissipate and thats covers most of my energy problems. For increasing the damage im using Madurai school (for 40% STR bonus and 50% cast speed) but im planning to switch to Unairu. As shards I use 2 yellow for cast speed and 3 red for raw STR bonus. For surviving im using Shield Gate mechanic + Decaying Key for easy management. As Excal after last rework you dont need much STR, 250 is pretty high. Augment for Javelins covers pretty much all the damage buff you ever need. In Steel Path - its even easier to get 1000% melee damage bonus. For arcanes - you can use what you want. You can put Enegize. Me personally - I use molt for 60% bonus STR (that can put me up to 300% total STR) and Arcane Strike so I could free a mod slot on melee for even more damaging build. 1 arcane strike covers all attack speed I need. Overall - thats is my personal build. I use Daikyu as utility weapon (for Amalgam mods with Nikana's Life Steal and sprint speed) and Epitaph as status stick with amalgam mod for dodge roll speed. Both equipped with arcanes for melee combo duration (7,5 sec each - 15 sec total, thats even more than a mod, which makes another free slot for melee weapon). If you use Helminth, its better to put such abilities instead of Blind (2nd ability). Cause 1st one is really life saving and very helping for shield gate. I hope that helps :)
