I still remember the Dev stream where Steve said "someone in chat is asking if warframes can get pregnant", i guess now we have an answer.

DE got me right in the feels with this one; there is no fury greater than that of a parent protecting their child. It's not just emotion, it's an instinct hardwired into the deepest, most primal part of our nature.

All this time we asked, “Where is the Stalker?”. But we never asked “How is the Stalker?”. Seriously I knew there was something tragic behind the stalker, but THIS… was so unexpected.

What I think is interesting is that this baby warframe is alive. Clearly no tenno is controling him, so it has it's own mind, brain and stuff. Pretty similiar to Umbra who also did not need a tenno to roam freely, the differance is that Umbra was made, Sirius/Orion was born. Really interesting turn of events, considering it's a main story quest there's a lot more to come.

Fun fact, if you are marked for death by stalker, he will appear in the mission but if you or anyone in your squad is playing Jade the stalker will immediately disappear

It's strange for them to just let him go, the captain was looking for a Warframe as a prize instead she finds an old Hunter of tenno carrying something impossible to exist, a child born Warframe, not built or changed from infestation, but something new and born, And yet the captain and her troops just let him go.. I guess not every corpus is as cruel as they're made out to be, for this one didn't see a prize to bring to Parvos to become a sister, she saw a child born from a mother of jaded light, and a father of the darkest shadow.

I wonder how the stalker would act if you use Jade in the second dream when you find out you are a tenno not a warframe.

Oh just had a great idea....the child is a warframe Sirius/Orion will properly be the next frame so what if you have them and at a random time on a mission Stalker would randomly show up and maybe revive you and maybe there is a higher chance he show up if you are playing on a solo mission as Sirius/Orion.

I like the scene on the surface where they stop firing once they hear the baby crying. It shows some of the Corpus actually have some kind of moral compass. Yes, they are enemies to warframes and Tenno, but they wouldn't hurt an innocent newborn. Nef Anyo could take some lessons from Parvos's Corpus before cutting the legs and arms from Solaris.

Warframes can get pregnant. But the conception of life is equal to a cloning vat. However, it has more "Emotion" in it. Its how Sorren and Jade lived... and loved. I can go all science here on the concept, but let's just enjoy that Sorren is a father, and we don't have to fight him anymore. (Though, I would like another Hatred in my arsenal)

you know what i just realised in the comments that has not been noticed yet... a lot of people talk about how female warframes can't get pregnant but can give birth if pregnant before becoming a warframe... so has anyone paid attention to the fact *A WARFRAME GAVE BIRTH* to a brand new species who will be able to give birth if female... 🙄😅 there not human but partly human from warframes being formerly human, there not infested because there only part helminth, and there not Tenno because again they are only part of 2 forms, helminth and human (originally) though by the looks of it the child even though just literally born already have power far stronger than the tenno, i mean look what the baby did to sorren giving him a seriously powerful boost, from what i could tell from there head they definitely have a closer appearance to a warframe however with the different strands of dna fused together it makes them something new so wtf are they?? Answer: an entirely brand new extremely powerful species even more so than the orokin, infested etc, so this means that the devs have something very large planned that's going to mind melt us with a brand new fact for warframes (or whatever this new species will be called) of course this also depends on how sorren (stalker) raises and teaches his child to be.. a savior of all or the destroyer of all, if the child is female will she also become the mother (the eve) of her new species or if a male the father of a new species *IF* another "Warframe" like child is discovered and born around the same time (maybe) and is the opposite gender

So far, this is what I've learnt: Warframes are biologially based, at least on a nervous system level. Infestation provides another biological component. Remember when Ballas tortured the Dax soldier and infested him with Helminth? The Dax soldier mutated into Excalibur Umbra, a self-sentient, autonomous warframe that doesn't need an operator to fully move. What I see here is that both Jade and Sorren were full biological humans and were turned into warframe and stalker, respectively. Jade was already pregnant when that happened, and the child she was bearing was mutated too, on an embryonic level. Stalker keeping his love for her and his child is an irrefutable fact that they keep their humanity even when they mutate and transform into warframes.

I'm ngl this whole thing sits very weird with me, namely in that Jade is introduced and immediately Woman In Fridge'd. It just feels... off, and rather upsetting in how it's presented, and not in the "this is so sad" way the quest is clearly intending. What happens to Jade is a direct result of the Stalker, I can't feel sad for him when he caused this.
