But existence of minor, but quite military strong human empires willing officially cohabitate with xenos, the main reason for existence of man of stone and man of iron, the fact, that knight suits were ment to counter local threats and piratical raids of xenos, and the reason for original superheavy tanks and apcs of humanity (harsh environment where you need a hulking gun and gazilion of anti infantry machinegun nests, sugests the human penetration to space was far from peacefull. Not to mention, there is a pretty big chance, the pariah genom and gene was introduced into human genom by necrons/necrontyrs.

Thanks for the kind words. In the defense of the writers of the wikia, I am actually narrating a lot of it from there though. I mostly rearrange the info sometimes and edit some paragraphs so they are easier to comprehend :)

There's worlds where xenos archeotech is part of the local terraforming engines. They could smash them up, but they don't know how to preserve the world if they do. Archeological traces of xenos and pre-imperial humans are scattered here and there.

Apart from the campaign that was fought against them during the Great Crusade, I wasn't able to yet find anything about them as a species.

I realize this is a bit late but vvhat can be inerred about the rangdan is that they had vveapons that could pierce Astartes povver armor & they possesed either armor or a carapace that vvas resilient against bolters & perhaps even as good or better than povver armor.They also had some means of space travel as they did inhabit a vvhole system but there is vvhere it canbe inferred that their vveakness vvas, either they had non vvarp capable ships or their ships vvere lacking in arms or manouverability & it seems their planets vvere subject to exterminatus as the ONLY vvay to get rid of them. These above traits vvould explain their ability to kill off 2 vvhole legions of Astartes & their Primarchs, implyed is 1 primarch out of pride & hubris kept attacking them on the ground rather than bombarding them from the safety of orbit . Note, not all the legion vvas destroyed & leftover astartes vvere amalgamated into the 13th & other legions. Also itcan beinferred that 1 primarch vvas lost in the vvarp vv/his vvhole ship. Novv let me run as posting this info has tipped off the Inquisition & Im running to the Arvus parked atop the hab block i dvvell in before they kick in my door.
