@@blackturtlesoul7387 If they want dialogue there's alot more dialogue that could be written but written well. The space marines could be discussing the situation, they could be shooting the shit, they could be chatting about chapter drama (and yes, there is drama within space marine chapters). They could discuss anything other than basic soldiering that a space marine would have practically ingrained in their DNA and honed over decades of practice and battles. The dialogue in this video doesn't really align with Warhammer lore, which is pretty standard for the Warhammer games, because they never seem to nail down the lore and the universe well. That's why we haven't seen many good Warhammer video games.

Go watch a cutscene from Necromunda Underhive Wars. This is Shakespeare in comparison.

To be fair to 40k specifically Astartes are able to survive and walk around completely with most of their face blown off so I imagine most of them just don't care.

If we look at the table top standpoint, I think the head expose originally was to show the "uniqueness" of that figure as a "Hero character" so thus will have higher stats compared to the helmet wearing figures. The lore about them not wearing a helmet came later to show their bravery or something to inspire his men even if it leave their head and face exposed.

It's for the "protagonists" or important character, like gears of war

Also I have a problem with gene stealers and tryranids cutting thru, or pulling apart space marine armour. Physically it doesn’t make sense. Even the sharpest non powered sword should be able to penetrate unless there momentum behind it (more so blinding speed) to increase the force.

They can immediately breach bulkheads, and they can pack tremendous firepower into a smallish package. Mobility accounts for absolutely nothing in the EXTREMELY cramped quarters of a space hulk. They can bring devastating weapons and have one hand free to wield vicious melee weapons like lightning claws, huge power weapons, massive thunderhammers, etc. Chainfists double as effective weapons AND excellent ways to carve your way through the ubiquitous deck plates and bulkheads. Terminator Librarians can unleash absolute hell in the tight corridors of a space hulk. Furthermore, you NEED the big guns in a space hulk. They’re full off Tyranid hordes of which goddamn _Genestealers_ are the most basic enemy and you’ll regularly encounter hive tyrants. Other hulks are full off demons, all the way up to and including powerful greater demons like bloodthirsters and lords of change. Those plasma destroyers and assault cannons and heavy flamers and other massive Terminator weapons are the only things that will dent 75% of the things you’ll find in a Space Hulk. When it comes to Space Hulks regular marines only cut the mustard when you deploy them in full company strength with Centurion support. Space Hulks are so unfathomably dangerous they make space marines feel as vulnerable as a flak armored Guardsmen and they die just as fast. Terminators are your very best option.
