Hi thanks for the feedback. I have had a mixed reception so far on the series. They take a lot of work so was wondering if it was worth it to do all the factions.

@@theghostowl I can't see why. I'm not aware of any other YTuber doing an in-depth analysis like this. I have Old World Builder open when I watch these so I can theroy craft while watching.

I was lukewarm on rangers, but one unit of 10-12 can really pad out your Core while also being a really annoying threat. Plop them in the woods and just plink away with the crossbows at 30 inch range with Ballistic Skill 4. Your opponent can't really ignore them, but they're skirmish and in cover, so it's hard to shoot them. Having dwarf crafted and being in cover makes it difficult to charge them too. Give them hand axes and they can be even more deadly when they get charged. It can really screw up your opponent's plan. And since the first unit is eating up Core points, they're practically an auto-include for me. I think Irondrakes might be my favorite unit in the whole faction. There's tradeoffs (especially when it comes to range), so it's not a perfect comparison, but I think of them as cannons with a retinue of thunderers. I'll take 2-3 if I can fit them. Looking forward to the next video!

I like your thoughts on the Rangers and agree with what you say definitely depends on how the rest of the list is built though. Thanks for stopping by!

Any chance to get some sample dwarf lists 1000, 1250, 2000 ?

There are 2 sample 2,500pts lists at the end of the series. Though these are built for fun and variety not for meta competitive. These list could be scraped down to make a smaller points list. Personally I have found 2,500pts to be the sweet spot for the game if you have the time and the miniatures.
