It's something of a point of contention within the community, but the canon Traveler is generally treated as Aether while Lumine is generally treated as the canon Abyss sibling. 2:20 we actually still don't even know exactly the details of the Cataclysm. You'll slowly unearth more and more information about it as you go on, but it still remains the big mystery of the game. So it'll be exciting to see you get to discover those mysteries!

Ouch. Computer crashed in the middle of commenting. Took a while to get restarted and online (my system's six years old to start with, and I bought it used). As I said on a previous video, we don't really know just who was at the fall of Khaenri'ah, what their priorities were, or even how many sides that fight had. We do know why the current gods are entirely okay with being publicly blamed for all of it, and why neither Venti nor Zhongli was especially willing to tell you why they weren't talking about it. (The general consensus is that your ability to figure this out for yourself pretty much equates having need to know.) Also, we don't know exactly how to interpret this video because while it seems that Hoyoverse's assertion that picking either Aether or Lumine to follow results in a canon story is valid, the possibility has been raised that both versions of that story may be canon even in-universe - and there are multiple ways that could be true if so with differing implications. We're still guessing at a lot here. You will be able to teleport out of Inazuma upon arrival. (This is mainly a warning that while Paimon can still fuzz out the order of events so that while outside Inazuma you'll effectively be back before you first went there, there will be times much further in the future that won't be practical and teleportation will be disabled for possible real-world hours of story at a time.) If you want to test the difficulties for yourself (and you might not have the patience) you're of course welcome to try forcing your way there: Kaeya's elemental skill can be used to cross the ocean very, very slowly. A year ago, I had a book to read and spent the time to try it and see what happened. Much later upon actually reaching Inazuma the right way, I tried taking a boat back and got to see how much more quickly it happened. I didn't try crossing the ocean floor, but some other players did and aside from discovering the interesting geography down there (which has since been changed in a way that makes the crossing much easier if you can get down there to start with) found out that no, the ocean will not protect you. A couple days ago, I was in Monstadt, had commissions in Inazuma and some spare time, and decided to finally try out Furina and go there without teleporting because I was actually interested in seeing what the country looks like from far enough away and which geographical details become distinct first. Sadly, I'm at the portion of the story where it no longer happens, because it would have made a great video clip (my poor old laptop can't record clean audio, but screenshots and video are doable). No need to rush, though. This isn't like Liyue where you have an in-universe deadline to get there. While it isn't that the plot (in terms of how it's written in-universe) is actually waiting for your arrival, it's paced in a way that amounts to that.

It's interesting, you can kinda see her point of view to understand why she's doing what she is doing, still, will we get to the same conclusion as her by the end of our journey?😮 It's a very cool video, I haven't really properly watched it until today, all I saw from it was clips of it from lore videos😅 The next stop in the adventure will be Inazuma, the land of eternity governed by her excellency the almighty Narukami Ogosho god of thunder😮 Hopefully we get more answers, in the worst case we get more questions😅

Another thing you should watch is the Teyvat chapter prelude. Not the interlude or anything the PRELUDE. It was released prior to Genshin s official release

Video games with stories normally have me taking sides and trusting a specific set of characters and factions. But Genshin? I don’t know who to trust! Way too many details are still missing! Which makes me love the game and the story so much more. It’s so good!

Since I chose Lumine, I see this in the opposite way. Genshin’s storytelling is top notch but, that’s what I’ve come to expect from Hoyoverse

Ive been saying it ever since I met Paimon. We're the bad guys. We just dont know it... The devs didnt name Paimon "Paimon" on accident. Also alot of the Archons are named after literally devils and demons. Baal, Morax, Barbatos etc. Stuff in Alistair and Abbadon and you basically have Hell starting line up for the apocalype. Its all a big bait and switch. That my theory anyway. Only thing Im pondering is if all the archons are bad or just some. There WAS a massive archon war so obviously they dont HAVE to be on the same side.

btw, you saw in the last quest Dain uses a lot a type of blue fire, but he is not a Pyro character because Dain doesn't have a vision His "element" is still unknown but it is basically confirmed that it will be quantum quantum and Imaginary are two energies already present in other Mihoyo games, quantum is basically destruction and Imaginary is creation they are linked to the "imaginary tree" and the "sea of ​​quanta" the lore of these things is extremely complex and cannot be explained in a single comment, so in the future you can seek to know more in depth about them

Don't watch Winter Night Lazzo before you've done Inazuma story (till the end). This trailer specifically should be watched before going to Sumeru and has big spoilers!

I said this before and I will say it again: There is no good or evil in genshin. Everything is gray. It's just all "different war perspectives" between many factions. Notification squad!!

With the exception of a handful of people you'll meet way further down the line, I don't think there are any truly evil characters in Genshin. It feels like every "faction" (The Harbingers, The Abyss Twin, Aether, Dainsleif) all have similar goals, they're all just going about it in opposing ways. Of course this is just a theory. There is still so much coming your way, and I'm really excited for you.

theres another genshin official trailer thats kinda spoiler, its shows all nations with the name of the main archon quest and some characters that are crucial in the story plus the music theme of the nation so best dont watch it if you dont want to get spoiled with anything
