@@CaneFan423 Ukraine has been hyping up this offensive to the point a trailer for it came out just to have Bradley’s and Leo 2 burning up in 4K in the first week. Not only that, according to the WaPo paper they’re saying they’ve lost 20% of equipment meant for the offensive. 20% and they’ve just started to nibble at the first line of defense. Does that seem like winning to you? Which is why they focusing back onto Bahkmut.

@@CARBONHAWK1 They are focusing on destroying supply lines and artillery systems before doing a major push. You don't just push through mine fields while getting hit by artillery. This is why they have been taking out arty systems and hitting Russian supply depots and supply lines. Look at the number of arty system hit. Then look at all the supply depots hit. Then look at Kerch bridge and the other bridge connecting Crimea to Ukraine. This isn't a movie. Ukraine won't take massive amounts of land at the start of the offensive. Look at Kherson and Kharkiv. Russia held a lot of land there but then they pulled out quickly. Why? Edit: Also nothing you said takes away from the fact that Ukraine has taken back more land in this offensive so far than Russia had captured in the past year. If taking more land than your opponent isn’t winning then what is?

I am sorry to say this is the first video of yours that I have seen. I got to say, you really know what your doing. Your commentary was on point and didn't distract from the video in any way. Also I very much appreciate you showing the Russian clips. Having spent 23 years in the US Marine corps and been on combat deployments to Somalia, Bosnia, East Timor and Iraq, I agree with you on the incredible importance of seeing both sides of the engagement. Like you I have read The Art of War. It's been on the Marine corps Commandant's reading list for as long as I can remember. Only a fool disregards the victorys of their enemies. Knowing how they did it is the key to preventing it on the next engagement. Keep doing the great work. Much respect 🙏 🫡.

I used to drive 5 tons like truck in the ambush in the army. We never worried about getting shot up stateside. We were absolutely safe. It’s gotta be a hell of a wake up call for Russian soldiers to realize they are not safe in Russia. Makes them think twice about routine matters.

Iv been in war as kid in Croatia and ofc I know u havent been on the receiving side of bullets, missiles, artillery etc. Or the constant fear if ur parents are dead. The video shows how the Ukrainians storm the abandoned positions. They do a sweep, but they don't show how the Russians beat them back. Positions in one day can move from one to another 2 times. The main thing to know is that leaving positions does not mean victory. You can lose the battle, but win the war. The main thing is competent maneuvers with the preservation of personnel and exhausting the enemy, then a sharp throw to the west. Maneuvers can be to a depth of defense of 40 kilometers, like the Battle of Kursk 1943, but then an offensive and then the Vermokht ridge breaks.

I am no military at all, but am following this war from the first day on quite close. Your videos help a lot, in the comments I see that a lot of people agree and verify what you are talking about. So you are an important educator to me (and most likely others too), when some people think you „blow up“ the talking, those are most likely the parts where I can learn something. So thank you A LOT for not only selecting and commenting these clips, but also for giving information on different levels of knowledge. And yes, to have a neutral picture I think it is important to include the orcs point of view too. If anyone has recommendations for creators who are able to explain well what one can see in these videos, I would be pleased to follow. And I would love to see your take on the Chechen wars, especially if that means this f*cking war is over soon!

At the beginning it’s a great show, many Ukrainians, when filming videos, highlight Z with different symbols so that their military actors are not killed. Ukraine can only shoot a show with actors !!! 5-10 people shoot at a truck and not one hole in it!! I was especially pleased when the actor shot at point - blank range at the cabin from a machine gun and again not one hole . aren 't you tired of shooting blanks for a movie ?

In BC are school camping trip featured an open air latrine consisting of a big hole with a log across the top to sit on and there was real zingers being delivered while guys were sitting down on it, if you were not popular with the other campers. My buddy was so afraid he held it in for days.
