In this Ukraine war update we take a look at most extensive documentation of the M2 Bradley in combat in Avdiivka, Russian gains during Russias winter offensive and the high price payed for it. This update includes us diving into drone footage showcasing a failed Russian mechanized assault on Sinkivka, discovering how American M2 Bradleys are transforming the landscape of Ukrainian defensive strategies in Avdivka with in-depth footage demonstrating their impact on the battlefield, looking at the Ukrainian bridgehead in Kherson and much more.
As always the footage comes with detailed commentary and maps giving more context to the events.

Yea it’s actual war not like USA military vs civilians like the last 10 conflicts we were involved in and STILL lost them all hands down…. War is hell hundreds of thousands die….. it hasn’t even got serious yet remember ww2 Russia lost over 20 million military personnel and up to 80+million civilians death count means nothing to Russians. Not like us in the west we would have tapped out week on with 10k Kia we would make peace we can not handle body count at all at all

The fact that the Bradleys in Ukraine are older M2A2 ODS and not more modern M2A3 or A4 variants, yet are still proving to be an effective vehicle, speaks volumes. These are 90s era vehicles with probably limited modernization.

I don't know if they are equipped with TOW missile systems, but even without, they should be VERY effective in an "active defense" role. Especially, when combined with ATGM and mines emplaced to stop enemy tanks. As we saw during the "counteroffensive" in the summer, you can't just send Bradleys and tanks through a mined defensive line without either air superiority (not happening in Ukraine), or full artillery suppression, which is not easy and apparently Ukrainians don't currently have that capability.

Bradleys do not destroy Russian tanks. Trust Ukrainian media less. And the author of the channel himself does not know what he is saying. Bradleys are good against infantry and lightly armored vehicles. The Russians have already shown that Bradley does not penetrate the armor of the T-90M and T-72 tanks. The most Bradley can do is destroy the ATGM on the tank, it is not protected!

They have been getting supplies from North Korea. And the ammo thing is true about stock piles. The thing is, Russia still produces more ammo than the west does on a monthly basis, and its been said over and over that though artillery attacks have gone down significantly, you just need to be able to shoot more than your enemy does. Which Russia has been successful with.

it is possible to block enemy electromagnetic space at some frequencies, while keeping it open for the own forces, but it needs hardware (chips) that are preprogrammed, and staff that is able to programm the hardware, as well as regularly changing of the "code" (frequencies that are open for minimal periods of time, need to be changed at least daily). you need hardware for the shuffler at the receiver as well as at the sender side. also on the scrambler. and the clocks need to be on point. i dont know how soffisticated ukrainian army is in that. the army i was in, only was capable of doing that at shortwave frequencies, but theroetically you can do it in every frequency spectrum you want.

also it is possible to build drones, that are not affected by scramblers (for example with soem form of targeting AI) (makes drones much more expensive) as well as its possible to automate drones that are affected, so that they return to a programmed location, if scrambled (this less expensive, but also requires some dedicated electronics, which may be expensive for russians, but not for ukrainians, and also people that can programm the drones on the spot before useage)

The funny thing is when the Russians get off on decoding , or interfering with sophisticated digital transmissions - then the Ukrainians suddenly switch to the simplest uncovered, analog one and the "unprepared" Russians are duped, before they realise what's goin on at all.

@@certaindeath7776could simply design a method for the pilot to paint a target with a laser on the drone - and the drone then automatically takes over to follow the beam til impact, negating all need for the operator to maintain visual. Russian jammers usually only block the video feed rather than scramble the controls, which means if you’re a good pilot with object permanence - you can fly through the static and hit the target blind.

@@bandit5875 i think it would be good, to bring some relatively cheap drones to low/medium alt up, at standoff range from ballistic weapons (some movement will do the rest), with stabilized camera with great zoom flir, and a laser painter and a strong radio connection, either via directional radio or sattelite, which only works as spotter and painter for swarms of smaller drones or artillery the challenge would be to make theese drones: - disposible (relatively high production count, as cheap as possible) - low heat signature (they probably would be slow) - low emission (only emits radio to its dedicated adresses) - something radar doesnt like (maybe some form of fabric as hull, if its lasts a year it has delivered more then needed) if you design a craft bigger then 2 metres, and more expensive then 60k a piece you failed the design phase. use consumer grade materials, mixed with some military grade stuff (electronics from usa or eu, that u assemble in ukraine) So it will be about as pricey as the strela the russians will need to use against it (and tell ukrainians where the strela guy is sitting^^) Build 5000 of them until 24.12.2024. around the cost of one bayraktar, and about the same effect as 5000 disposible bayraktar. Also make your ground troops able to see the lasers if needed, so drone operators can mark POI to ground units, and assist and interact with visual support, not only via voice. a small blimp with an electric low heat emmision drive could be exceptionally hard to get rid of, as they have almost no radar signature (only the attached equipment), produce low heat and are at standoff range for ballistic stuff. another benefit would be increased endurance. edit: if it can relay signals from ground stations to drones and ground troops via directional signalling without busting the budget, it would be a decent addon. the goal of the thing is to bring all the expensive stuff like cameras and EW countermeasures away from the explosions and make it expensive to explode it. while the stuff that goes boom will be smarter (in a passive way, it inherits smartness from the mother drone) and cheaper.
