Wouldn't this be preferable with a melee centric boc build? You can cop for healing, then curse of sac self buff for free str DMG and 30hp and then go in with boc, seems sac being broken with the perk might be a blessing in disguise, even tho cop wont be able to be spammed. I wonder how far a life drained target can move before it cancels, if they show any sign of retreat you can life drain and maybe channel fully the whole time they are running, gaining back lost hp at the same time. Flamewalker is probably also a good spell to cast right before someone is on you so you can space properly with the longsword

Not sure this is true. They do initial damage to the dummies and I fought another warlock and we were both CoPing eachother and we both definitely took damage.

It’s dependent on whether you have the curse of pain perk I think. The perk is what’s bugged?

that only applies to magical healing, which by default is 0, the +20% of 0 still is zero, but the healing he recieved is due to the damage conversion, yet its a pretty good perk as soon as you get more than 5 magical healing on warlock.

@@DuskyDk Are you absolutely certain the base stat is 0? I'm pretty sure the vampirism perk makes you heal more than last wipe, if by even just a little bit.

@@DuskyDk vampirism works with base kit i tested, it makes you heal at 1.5 per tick basically since id go up 1 then 2 then 1

I recommend either: CoP, PoS, Bolt of Darkness, Drain Life - this gives you a lot of magical healing, plus longer distance with the BoD, or: CoP, PoS, Hydra: This gives you magical healing with a cool summon to play around with for fun, block doors and CoP over, etc. With more space I'd take the Hydra + Drain Life combo for infinite healing anywhere you go.

@@Ltsama Hydra doesn't block doors. I tested a bunch of properties on different warlock spells and hydra doesn't physically block people from walking through it.

@@DuskyDk I might have to do some more testing then because I tested on crypts and ruins to see if it blocked a door and my team mate AND enemies could walk through them just fine. Hydra is just a garbage spell overall for the amount of spell capacity it costs.

Unfortunately no, no new skills and the 2 new perks only affect spells.

Why would you play a pure melee warlock when the class has spells? Is it a personal challenge?

@@TheDarckma because boc was needed for melee build and phantomize is really good for chasing down and disengaging so you would typically take both perks and leave behind spell casting

Just gotta make sure you don’t get them killed when you buff them XD

Power of sac with a cleric that has protect from evil or whatever it’s called is nice

Truth is, it's working as intentional. It clearly says in the perk "curse of pain" only heals you and that's how the perk was always worded. The fact that hellfire and curse of sacrifice healed at all previously was a glitch, not the other way around. All they did was fix the glitch.

You need to get more spell capacity

It does nearly no damage. Even if you hit every single tick of the beam youll only do like 30 damage

Literally simply get gear with "Additional Magical damage", and the beam will melt players at distance

Lifedrain is pretty pointless if you have enough mag heal just use cop and pos

Warlock is good but it gets hard countered by a few classes. Like all classes do.

Barbarian still gonna face roll it I’m afraid haha. Infinite heals is nice but when you die in 2 hits to a movement speed buffed player with >150hp you’re in trouble :D
