Ok, it's a been a minute or two since watching and listening to this entire video and I'm just now realizing I could watch and listen to the whole thing again 5,000,000 times and still not get any of it because all my mind can process are the thoughts of, well, how Sylvia is one of the top 10 sexiest people alive in all the ways - ever, anywhere.

Wow.... Beautiful medium sounds. Probably there was a mix, but the equalization does not bring this whole purity, so the microphone is really good.

Hi, I just want to comment on the ribbon mics + phantom power. It's good to be careful BUT nothing will pop out because the same level of 48vdc goes to both signal pins in XLR. The only situation you could damage the ribbon is if you had a faulty cable and dc would go to just one pin etc. I have accidentally fed phantom to my ribbon mics and all of them have survived.

*OR* if you happen to plug/unplug the ribbon while phantom is on. Because one pin makes a brief (dis)connection before the other. This is most often the culprit in phantom-related ribbon casualties.

I have done the same with my ribbon mics. beyer 160,cascade fathead, aea, they all survived. There is that small chance though. I never unplugged them with phantom power on though. Not willing to try haha

Who ever can give this answer thanks in advance. For male and Female vocal . What mic from warm audio is good to buy . WA47 OR WA 251 . Please someone can give me their opinion which one for general. Of course the whole session with Sylvia is amazing. I always enjoy watching her sessions. Thx .

We just recorded 2020 American Idol Top 40 Jeb Vonder Bruegge EP "Confessions" with the WA-47 on his vocals. All but the song Crown (live) which was a 7B. Pre was Summit TPA 200B, WA-1176 4:1, Med Attack, Fast Release, 2-3db, RME, into Protools. It beat out all others on his voice. Well worth the money. IMO. He also liked/chose to track with the WA-76 to PT. Full audio available on Spot, iTune, others.kzfaq.info/get/bejne/nOCFlsSalcqWmWg.html

This sounds great! I found the track (Kyle's Conundrum) on Timberline Music Company's KZfaq channel at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y5Nmes-QqtLScpc.html but it sounds like the track was re-recorded with the Warm Audio gear and that gorgeous Neve board. I would love to hear the full track from Sylvia's session. I understand that no pianos were harmed during the filming of this video.

Hi! This is great feedback. It's actually a slightly different mix. Everything else is the same. We did several mixes as we went along. The mix on the Warm Audio is the official mix that made the album. Eventually I'll fix them to be the same.

I noticed that too on the of lack of WA-87 emphasis, and was also surprised the WA-67 didn’t get more attention as well (both large diaphragms). I guess Sylvia does explain it somewhat in terms of practical cost and the matching of small diaphragm WA-47 to their needs though.

Preface: I love warm audio to death... lifelong fanboy. My life is better because they exist... BUT...... A secret part of me gets a little bump of joy every time I think about Sylvia Massy also struggling with the mount for the WA47 microphones. 😈 #sorrynotsorry #devilinside Please warm fix this and offer a discounted fix for your customers... or a trade in program. F5...I would go wa47... I have both. And they’re great! The wa47 is just ever so more versatile in my humble opinion. A clarity that can’t be matched. But as I stated before... the mount for this mic is the stuff of nightmares and you will fight with it constantly. It can’t support the weight of the mic. Other than that 10/10!!

I get a tube mic sound just by Soft clipping to thicken the waveform and limiting the highs a bit Is it exactly the same as a Tube Mic? I don't know I haven't compared them
