Merry Christmas friends!!
I hope you enjoy this little surprise Christmasy vlog :) We just recently experienced the first real snowfall of the year and I just knew I needed to document it. There's lots of playing in the snow, baking, unboxing a very highly anticipated book and an amazing parcel full of goodies. There's also a lot of wrapping presents and watching comfort movies. This is more of a short and simple video, but I hope you still enjoy it :) I also know that some of you are spending the holidays away from your family this year due to... current events. So I hope this video can bring you a bit of warmth from my little family to you. If you're alone, go get some peppermint ice cream, watch Silver Skates and go for a walk out in nature. Please take care of yourself and know that this is just a rough patch but things WILL get better and WILL improve with time.

Lovely thanks for sharing, you seem to have fun in every moment. Here in England mince pies are made traditionally with short crust pastry not puff and are usually round. The original mince meat centuries ago did have meat in but no longer, just the dried fruit now. Puff pastry is a nice twist, although other pasties as they are known are often made of puff pastry. I love your creativity! Happy Christmas.

Nonesuch still has meat in it. We just don't use the portions that were used historically. We've reversed it basically. I personally love mince.

@@ELCinWYO yes there are some pasties that contain mince meat, but the sweet ones don't in my experience, living in a region where pasties are still a staple.

@@ELCinWYO ok, good to know. It seems it is still going in the US from what you shared, nonesuch We don't have that in the UK as a common item, our mince meats are sweet.

@@feathernow It's sweet, extremely sweet. Most people have no clue there's meat in it but I get curious. What's that weird textured stuff with a strange taste? Yeah, sometimes curiosity isn't a benefit. I've bought the miniature mince pies from the UK, yum! But they're very hard to get here. Actually, if I want mince pie I either have to make it myself or buy it way in advance and have it shipped from the UK. Pennsylvania may have actual pies, though, just not out west here.

Mince pies are round with a lid and made from shortcrust pastry in Britain. I’ve never seen one made like that before 😜 but I’m sure they tasted just as nice xx

My daughter and I shared the 'Build A Bear' experience at a pop-up shop during a popular winter festival, in Dec.2019. And, although I'd like to believe we really went in for her, I also came home with the very same bear as your 'Theo.' I've never seen someone make mince pies with puff pastry before hahaha that's an interesting way to do it! usually they are made with shortcrust pastry and then dusted with powdered sugar!

Extremely grateful for this upload this has been the worst Christmas of my life. My mom passed away last December due to complications related to lung cancer, I've been ostracized from her side of the family after coming out, and my cat passed away last month from old age. (He was 12 years old.) I've been coming to your channel alot for some comfort lately.

This is the most beautiful video I have ever seen! My Chritsmas are often awfull since for the moment I cannot decide to spend it with the ones I truly love and instead I need to see a lot of people with whom I have the worst memories and pretend that I'm not feeling incredible uncomfortable or that I dont get their comments about me. I hate Chritsmas since I was a kid for this reason but I have always dream with the day I will have a life that allows me to have a real one, full of love and cozyness, and this video is exactly what I have always imagine.
