Meet Pammy Panda, Tyg Tiger, Rick Raccoon, Digger Mole, and Bogey Orangutan - they’re cute, they’re furry and they have a secret. Whenever the purple mushroom by the tree they call home starts to flash they swing into action as the crime-sleuthing squad called the Shirt Tales. Racing to their secret lair hidden underneath the tree (and under the nose of Park Ranger Mr. Dinkle), they answer the Shirt Tale Alert from the Commissioner who clues them in on the current crime via holo-phone. Then it’s off to their shape-changing supersonic craft where they use their wiles and their fantastic gadgets to solve the mystery and nab the bad guys. These message-wearing T-shirted critters started out as adorable (and adored) greeting card characters but it took the genius of Hanna-Barbara to take the cute and mix-it up with a blend of Batman and Scooby-Doo to create a fan-and family classic. 46-episode, complete series collection.

I've been looking for this for a long time!! For a long time I've been unable to find it, not sure if I had the name right. I used to watch this when I was 6 years old and then they suddenly stopped airing it. So good to see this back after such a long time!! :D

Same here!! Since I was 5 I vowed myself the find this cartoon. I too didn’t remember the exact name. Thanks to Google and a few keystrokes and voila, alas I’ve found it. I’m high fiving myself in the space time continuum. I suggest you do the same

Anyone else who has this series on DVD...has anyone else noticed that some episodes in S1 have what appears to be a prototype opening? Digger's shirt says "Mole" instead of his name, and some shots are seen at a distance from the standard version. Was this just an early episode thing, or...???????

Unfortunately, there’s no free episodes if it’s from Warner Bros. ( They bought MGM, United Artists and Hanna Barbera off of Ted Turner back in the 90’s) They pulled almost all the episodes off of KZfaq and “shelved” them. A lot of these Warner archive cartoons are not available even for sale only clips and theme songs remain.

🤠 I am not going to deny it, back when I was a kid I use to love watching shirt tails and the snorks. Both of these cartoons were excellent and they were my favorite. I actually miss watching these two cartoons. I think that shirt tails and The snorks need to come back on. I don't care if they're reruns, I just want them back on television again and the theme song is and will always be cool.

Early 80s but man does this look mid 70s. Cute show which I vaguely remember as a little kid, but definitely out of place in the 80s (even compared to the other cutesy cartoons like Care Bears)

I loved this cartoon so much!!! And I loved that Hardee's had all the stuffed animals for sale.... Hardee's used to be awesome for that type of stuff..... now days, not so much 😕

I'd like to see this be revived... but it would be hard. I mean little animals living in a park(some of them on the endangered species list) not a zoo and the stupid t-shirt powers?! I don't see this keeping up with MLP or pound puppies. For smaller kids, that might work.

I’m very late on this but Disco never really died. It’s trends and styles did. But the influences just got absorbed into life. 1980 was an era of “Post-Disco” like an after party. It could be seen in a lot of physical activities such as roller skating, Olympics, Weightlifting and Sports. It was behind a lot of grooves back then. It just changed from being classical to more rock and funk.
