This one is a well made movie. It’s different than the Steve Martin version in that it is far more serious. It takes chances which I great appreciated I hate when movies just basically do shot for shot remakes. This movie does not do that.

I like how they put a different spin on this one. Still has humor, and lots of drama. Finally a remake that didn’t go to garbage like most do. Seems like a novela but in a movie form. But Steve Martin will always be the best one. Can’t beat a classic!

Actually the 1991 film with Martin and Keaton was a remake as well. The original Father of the Bride was a film made in the 1950s.

Couldn’t make it thru 15 minutes of the new version of this movie. Aaaaand I’ve seen the Steve Martin version, multiple times…. Because it’s THAT good. Don’t bother with this one. It’s a subpar money grab just like every other “remake” in history.

I saw the movie yesterday. I loved it, it was fun, entertaining, something you can watch with the whole family, and in now way I thought they didn't respect the Cuban culture, specially when the main stars, Andy and Gloria were born in Cuba

Mal Andy García, Mal Gloria Stefan, Que Carajos ponen a Pedro Damian? Un remake mal hecho. Me quedo con la original tiene más encantó y se nota una elección correcta de los personajes. Aquí el papel de organizador de bodas simple y sin gracia. Me hice la pregunta En que momento habrá comedia? Juegan con los clichés que piensan que es gracioso y no lo es abuuuuuuurrida y chocante!
