Fr :Your teachings on history of Kings and prophets are truly. enlightening and enjoyable. Israel kept on drifting in and out of idolatry and through his prophets he would warn, 'holler' , threaten them down the centuries but God relents and promises them good times. What is clearly emerging ; is the that SIN however grave is no obstacle to God's LOVE provided we truly repent. Now I see Jesus emerging through this God of Love of the Old Testament.

Our God is a Merciful God but we need to take into account two factors- accountability and responsibility. Self indulgence is quite dangerous and will take one away from the Path of Salvation. We need to learn to be kind to those who are in distress. Thanks to you, I realize that Mercy and Justice go hand in hand. I am grateful to you for the detailed explanation which has brought the important concepts into the forefront and in the right perspective. I have also learnt how Prophet Amos played a key role as a mediator between the Israelites and God. May the Holy Spirit continue to inspire and guide you Fr.Warner God bless you 🙏 Fr.Warner 🎉

So many life lessons from your teachings Fr. Warner. Your hard work to make the OT easy for us to understand and learn of God's justice and mercy.

Dear Fr Warner - you make the OT come alive with each sentence in your teaching. We can picture the leaders of Israel living a life of luxury - lying on ivory beds & lost in their stupor of debauchery & lifestyle of of opulence. Amos rebukes them because he saw Israel had forgotten God. Yet it was by the power of Amos' prayer that God withdraws 3 visions of destruction. Amaziah receives a devastating pronouncement on himself & his family for calling Amos a false prophet. May we live with goodness in our lives - sharing & caring for each other especially those in need. Thank you Fr for your valuable teaching & Holy blessing. May God bless you & give you health & strength to teach us. 🙏🏻 💞

Prophet Amos is clear in his words. We are all accountable for our wrongdoings. Our God is a merciful God but if we fail to fulfill our responsibility hel will surely punish us. Unless we repent for our wrongdoings. Our relationship with God comes with responsibility and accountability. Nothing happens without God's knowledge. These passages stress the importance of listening to God's warnings, repenting and living righteously. Thank you Father for the time and dedication you take into sharing God's words and explaining scriptures to us. God bless you.

I have a friend who started by reading the NT, he got converted. Later on he read the OT and noted the blood spilled so he thought he might not have converted had he read the OT first. Today we hear "wraught and justice come hand-in-hand", you done bad someone somewhere suffered from it. Justice be served. Thank you Fr. Warner.

Thank you Fr Warner for the detailed explanation of Ch 6&7of The prophet Amos.I did not experience any kind of interruption or disturbance in your inspiring teaching today. Based on the teaching I am reflecting on the below questions What bed am I lying on? Am I concerned about my neighbour bed? Am I indulging in self? Am I open to The Lords calling and respond to Him like Amos who left his lucrative job to do Gods will. What is my plumb line in the sight of God? Will be invoking The Holy Spirit to search my heart and intentions.

I have learnt a lot from your teachings. I used to skip all the names in the Old Testament. But listening to you makes so much sense. I too thought that A merciful God cannot punish His people so harshly. After your explanation that God took 300 years & when there was no change God had no other choice but punishment. I feel that the people brought it on them. God bless you,for taking so much hard work to explain these to us. God be with you always

Hi Fr. Warner, thanks for taking the time to teach us each day. I’m sorry I don’t respond due to lack of time on my part, but nonetheless I thank our good God for the gift He has given us in you. Not to worry about the length of your teaching. It is so very much appreciated. The past study on the book of Kings and this current one on Amos are huge eye openers to me. It’s a wake up call for a true self check, a call to learn from others’ lessons and repent, turning back in humility to the Lord. Thank you for the time, effort and dedication involved in putting this study and video together every day. It has helped me gather a much deeper understanding and appreciation of God’s Word. God bless you richly.
