The scythe is a beautiful tool that allows you to be very much in tune with your natural surroundings. I think it's lovely that you associate this with "relaxing nature sounds", since the swishing of the scythe has a gentle music of it's own that blends in well with natural sounds. Very relaxing indeed. I can completely understand where you're coming from. =) I want to put my hand on a scythe and do just that as well. A little difficult though if you've lived almost exclusively in the city...

I don't care how much it may wear me out overtime, I need one to do the lawn quietly, without changing or getting spark plugs or gas elsewhere 👍

it truly isn't wearing, I find scything is very relaxing and only strenuous if the conditions are tough (grass mixed with tough weeds or on an awkward slope with rocks), otherwise it really is quite effortless, like tai chi ,you don't have to apply a lot of pressure as long as your movements are correct and the blade is sharp. I highly recommend it! Seriously though :) you can purchase an austrian scythe- those are really light and ergonomic
