It genuinely astonishes me how The (Un)fun Pimps are so against their player base. For the love of criminy just let the players play the game how they want to play it! Never before have I seen a game company be THIS against players finding new and different ways of playing their game. It makes the developers sound like toddlers going 'NUH-UH!' when somebody finds a way to get around stupid and/or ridiculous gameplay mechanics that make no sense whatsoever. Kind of like the thing they did with how the lockpicking perk only nets you the workstation magazines up to level 15. They should have realized it was a dumb move when the first thing people realized when it happened is that they can just get the skill up to level 14, stockpile the magazines, and then read them all with a level 5 or higher Nerd Outfit. Friggin stupid on their part, but that won't stop me from playing the game how I want to play it.

I hate doing poi's an un knowledgeable player, ive played the old 7 days for years and am a veteran, but my god the cheese in modern poi's.. kill drops trigger hordes, probably the most scummy enraging shit ever

the assassin full set bonus and stealth skills combined honestly kinda feels like turning on admin invisibility mode. normal zombies just cant even see you while crouching. the higher the zombie is like feral or rads seem to have a better chance to detect you. now having said that. you can actually run into a room with zombies agro them instantly crouch and watch them lose you and start walking around. you can use guns with silencers and it will not trigger other zombies to attack but the one you shoot may or may not agro on you. in some cases they just stand there while you get stealth crits over and over. I will say even though I didnt see anything in the notes saying the did a nerf to the build in the last patch. I feel like they turned up the rads agro and ability to see you when you get too close. but over all you can still go through a poi and not be bothered much. including trigger rooms. the trigger still makes them spawn but they dont see you and you can stealth kill them. but level 6 armor, maxing out the stealth skills and having the books that support stealth will make this op in my opinion.

if you think that room is bad wait till you see Army post #7. its a new teir 5 poi and the end room is way worse than you can ever believe. there is no less than 3 waves of zombies that come at you and NO where to go as you have to drop in an elevator through the hatch and walk into the room which spawns them. there are so many red dots on your compass that it just looks like solid red. while your dealing with the first wave of what looks and feels like 50 zombies and running around the base cafeteria there are two more waves just as big making there way to you through doors. normally by the time I kill one wave the next has broken in to kill you.

I love using the sledge turrets alongside the stun baton with repulsor mod, it's the funniest shit ever, especially with a melee horde base. Ragdoll central. Addendum on the subtitles at 24:45, the level 1 toilet pistol with corn meal mod is the best weapon in 2 Weeks to Stop the Spread

I really feel like the fun police had a meeting about the game and someone was defenestrated like the meme. As a long time player, it hurts to see the answer to "the mid to late game is dull and some builds are notably stronger than others" has been "cripple casual play progression and render stealth relatively useless during missions to make the end game take longer to reach" with hostile gameplay design decisions. I swear they took a course on dark design patterns and hostile architecture. Just wish they'd expand on actual content instead of limiting how we interact with the existing content.

The stealth armor is OP apparently. You can be right next to a feral radiated zombie and it won't attack you if you are in the shadows. Fire Spark81 has a video on it

If you eat a Sham Sandwich just before you want to overheal with the first aid kit, it does 5hp damage so you can use the health kit. I can't currently think of a better use for the Sham Sandwich in the current state of the game, yet they spawn everywhere all the time.

Here's my theory: 7D2D is actually the prequel to the "Real" game. In the real game, you wake up from the fevered dream that is 7D2D. You survived the "Zombie" virus and your actions in 7D2D were just a reflection of your body's fight against the virus. The unrealistic things in 7D2D can be blamed by your "fevered dream". Only 1% survived, the rest are zombies. The reasoning is by the time Part 2 is ready, they will know how to do NPC's.

Stealth has always sucked because of those 'auto detect' rooms... where just walking in wakes everybody. With the Assassin Set... they forget why they were mad before they see you. Also, ne trip to Savage Country or 7 Tier 6 quests? I'll go cloths shopping before all those quests.

like the videos man. for some reason I mostly find legendary parts in piles of clothes and clothes baskets in regular houses doesn't even have to be a quest, so they messed something up.

you get a legendary tier 6 weapon as tier 6 reward (in the ammo crate) because at that point you shouldn't need one anymore.

Congrats dude! How does it feel like to live rent free in the devs' heads? 1.0 should be called the "F Prebuilt Update" lol. They changed POIs just to stop you from playing the way you want; They limited quest progression because you were doing them too fast; And this is just my own conspiracy theory but: Remember how you were mocking them relentlessly because of the fact that the game was still in alpha after 10+ years of development? What if they changed from Alpha 22 to Update 1.0 because of that? It was really weird how all of a sudden alpha 22 got renamed mid-way through development. By the way, do you still have any plans of doing a Project Zomboid series? It doesn't seem like Build 42 is gonna come anytime soon.

having tons of irradiated and feral zombies at the end room, with no decent escape isn't fun game play. I go into the last room early too ... give myself space to run and gun. The stun baton is really useful in those situations too - although I prefer my machete. Once I hit tier IV quests I started randomly finding more legendary parts ... and actually have a decent amount.

Oh, also, Wrench is Tier 1, Rachet is Tier 2, Impact Driver is Tier 3 - so Ratchet is the equivalent to the Iron tier of tools, not the Steel ones, hence why you can only put 3 mods on the level 5.

I would like to see how well a 4x4 with armor and plow does against horde night.

I don't mind needing to take odd paths through a poi for safety, I just wish the reason for it was better. TFP need to understand that the game can be fun or they can try (and likely still fail) forcing players to play a specific way.

what Znationffs does is he has a mod he made, so when he reaches max mining and harvesting ability he adds the mod so he nearly insta mines stuff with a tier 6 auger and chainsaw. he has stated that he does this because he doesn't like the reward for maxing it out being it's only slightly less tedious than before. plus he does massive horde base designs that require a lot of digging and material gathering.

I've literally looted legendary parts in tier III and tier IV POI's. Usually I get them out of lockers, but yeah. I have just started tier V and after using 2 of my legendary parts on steel tools I still have 11 in my inventory. Admitted caveat, I play with loot respawn turned off and 200% loot abundance. So, I'd say that 5 or 6 in the first 3 weeks is the current pace to find them on normal loot. Fits what the so-called "Fun" Pimps have been trying to set up.

Here is a Question for you, Dose the Robotic Turrets still take the Drum Magazine Mod and the Magazine Extender Mod at the same time or has The Fun Pimp finely patch in out?

The devs are your channel members so that they can patch out loopholes before you can publish them.

19%? Those are rookie numbers, ya gotta pump those numbers up. Have you tried wearing heavily tinted glasses while playing, maybe glasses with funhouse lenses? You can get those numbers up to at least 28% easy.

I don't think the FP only think about you when they change something. Might also have been because it makes so sense to suture something when you are not wounded. You can't use a cast if you don't have a broken limb. You can't use suture kit with no laceration... Why make the first aid and bandage different? I makes no sens. Also less experianced player like this change because wasting a first aid kit or bandage is a big deal for some.

Next thing they'll do is they'll make the blocks out of bedrock so you can't go through walls to get at the end loot stash.

The steel axe is a tier 3 tool (stone axe -> iron axe -> steel axe -> chainsaw) but the ratchet is only a tier 2 tool (wrench -> ratchet -> impact driver), which is their reasoning for the ratchet having fewer mod slots.

One of the main reasons I started playing this game modded only is because of of all the fuckin stupid changes made by the TheFunPolice in the last few years. If they spent more time listening to the community and playing their own game they would realize how badly they have screwed things. Tedious grinding for hours on end is NOT stretching a game out. Time gating trader quests? How do these a**holes think that we believe a bunch of brain dead zombies got together to build false walls to hide behind, trigger switch traps and false ceilings? Why are we forced to play the way TFP wants us to instead having the option to play how we want? We should not be magically detected out of line of sight or behind walls. It's insanely ridiculous that rotted flesh and decayed bones can slap through solid concrete and animals can chew through metal doors in a matter of seconds. And FFS TFP, stop watching content creators and changing the game based on something seen in a video !!!!

During the development of the game pl constantly complain how easy it was. Think this got in their heads, now this is the result.

There are wake up lines thst break stealth but with t6 assassin armor you can break line of sight as they will be awake but not know where you are, kinda makes headshots easier tbh so id say stealth is easier than it was, but not quite skyrim stealth archer level 😅

you can shoot the pipes with no penalty . Obviously this is not a perfect solution and does work better late game as damage is higher

The good news is there are other New T6 infestion pois that are an easy loot grab now like Grover High and Haven Hotel. But I can't help to wonder how much better the game would be and how many new weapons and vehicles etc., could have been made instead of all these reactionary changes soaking up development band width.

Some of the armor bonuses are nice, but dang inventory space for each. I could argue inventory space in general but honestly it was more/less balanced before having specialty sets of armor. Sure fine I still needed a chest outside from time to time, and I recycled everything for parts but it was still do able. Oh well, makes the 4x4 more appealing although I agree the mobility with the copter is just too nice to give up.

Man, I love stun battoms since they let me live in most POI's. Next update> Stun battons 'do not stun', only slow zombies down. xD

also U can get legendary weapons from air drops. I got a legendary sniper from 1 on day 15

It certainly feels changes have been made to thwart pro level players, to the detriment of regular or new players. Not the smartest business decision if you want players to have an enjoyable experience and invite their friends to join in.

For the sake of finding out what counts as an ax, I'm guessing you can type 'ax' into your search, like you could with armor, since invisible tags are now a thing.
