Putin and the Moscow elite will sell out the global climate for oil profits with no incentive to make Russia less productive in agriculture at the expense of 98.5% of the global population. Massive Russian Arctic oil investments and Russian push back in the IPCC process, and Russian climate scientists fraud are proof. Russia invested billions in Arctic oil and want a melted Arctic to exploit it but that would be a catastrophic tipping point for global climate. The IPCC report model ensembles have been proven to be corrupted by Russian models which have strange alterations. A climate scientist uncovered it in this video: Watch "Global warming is larger in the latest climate models than in their predecessors. Do we trust them?" on KZfaq, at 18:55 and one other comment after for the Russian models proof.

@maka613410 күн бұрын
@@castlerock58 Russia overtook that of Japan? No not even close. Do not confuse the influx of government spending on military with a healthy economy. This may surprise you but in 1944 Germany's economy was booming. Unemployment was near zero and the production lines were running faster than ever before. But even you know when i said 1944 not everything was going well for Germany. All what i said was true. Countries who are losing a war tend to look like their economy is running very good on paper until you look closer. Only once the government funds run out and they can no longer pay their industry to keep pumping out military hardware suddenly their gdp collapses as its true economy comes to light. "Now China will buy it which will make them even more competitive." also not entirely true. Needs context. For instance you cant just transport it east instead of west. This requires infastructure and pipelines. Those are not yet there and China keeps making a fuss about them during negotiations. So yes who knows maybe in the future Russia can sell what they lost to China instead of the EU but right now they cant do it. at least not to the same amount. The current pipelines can only take so much.

Even with record low recruitment, the USA is adding forces to the Arctic. Edit: I am corrected, it was an Airborne Division, not brigade. And really they just swiped the two BCTs from the 25th ID. So no new units, just kicking the 25th name out of Alaska and rebranding the units already there.

Sanctions against an oil giant can only work if the sanctioning countries increased oil supply themselves bringing the overall cost down. And oil output is just continuing to grow. Even OPEC is now joining the competition between countries to get the biggest global market share. They know oil is phased out, so everyone tries to get as much profit as possible as long as there is demand. And oil availability is still growing and more countries are discovering deposits every year.
@Wustenfuchs10910 күн бұрын
Oil is phased out? Really? Since when?! I must have slept through something or we live in different universes - because as far as I can see, 99% of all transportation in the world is still oil based. Small amount of EVs in a small amount of first world countries does not mean that oil is phased out. Oil will dominate the transportation for quite some time. Even if some extremely rich countries manage to completely revamp their infrastructure and transportation to electric vehicles (apart from cars and trains, nothing else actually can run on electricity just yet even if you want it to) in the next 50 years, other 90% of the world will still use oil for their cars, trucks, airplanes, trains, ships...
@juriteller368810 күн бұрын
@@Wustenfuchs109 since the amount of investment into new technologies grows every year far greater than oil demand grows. And at some point oil won’t be viable. If you don’t see it now you won’t survive as a company in 20-30 years.

@@juriteller3688companies are slowly weaning off oil, or at the very least starting to build redundancies, look at Toyota who opted to go full hybrid or go the Hydrogen route in Japan. Will oil run out and cause problems for people who refuse to see the writing on the wall? Yes…but then again, countries are more likely to fail to develop the necessary infrastructure in time for before companies become that stupid to go bankrupt.
@poppyrider554110 күн бұрын
No. Every drop of oil in he ground is going to be pulled out. It's far too valuable to leave there. And there is hundreds of years worth down there. Go buy you electric car and think you're helping. Don't think about the fertiliser that grew your food or the medicine the save your life. Every drop is coming up.
@Wustenfuchs10910 күн бұрын
@@juriteller3688 You really don't know how the market works, do you? And you seem to think that a handful of rich countries are all there is on this planet. If ANY of those extremely rich first world countries completely phases out oil in 30 years, just ONE of them, I am going to eat my own foot and stream it online, telling people it is a punishment for not trusting what juriteller3688 was telling me 30 years ago. Also, not to be too pedantic on the idiocy you just uttered, but you said "oil is phased out", meaning it is a done thing, no one using oil anymore. You could have said "There is a drive to phase out oil in top 1-2% of the countries in the world and they might be able to do a fraction of it in the next 30-50 years", and I would not have said a word. But no, you proudly proclaimed that "the oil is phased out". Really, how stupid do you have to be?

A fair point! It seems silly not to at least try to utilize old equipment even if it's retooled for different purposes! If anything it's giving them information about how to adapt equipment on the fly to their liking! Whether or not it really works is another thing but the old armored vehicles would still be a huge threat if not for all the western weapons tech and constant re-arming!

Say what you will about Russia and Putin - While the rest of the world governments are struggling with economic collapse (eg. cost of living) after the global pandemic and subsequent recessions; Russia is out here actually growing its GDP.
@jasonnugent96310 күн бұрын
At what cost though ?.... I mean, sure. Anyone can "hollow out a country" by converting to a "war time economy". But the long term cost of that is in almost all cases not worth it. What you want for a healthy robust diverse economy,.. is just that (it needs to be healthy, robust and diverse). "Making Tanks and Missiles and Landmines".. is not a "healthy, diverse and robust economy". If some of your population leaves and many more are being killed in a way,. and your economy at home is being narrowed to "only produce things for the military".. you're basically creating a military-state. It's just not a great long term strategy. Russia is (geographically) the largest country in the world. It's 9th on the list by Population. But it's 233rd on the list by population-density. Then you start looking deeper into how much of that population is "healthy young people who want to contribute as part of a 21st century international marketplace".. and the outlook starts to look grimmer.
@maka613410 күн бұрын
Do not confuse the influx of government spending on military with a healthy economy. This may surprise you but in 1944 Germany's economy was booming. Unemployment was near zero and the production lines were running faster than ever before. But even you know when i said 1944 not everything was going well for Germany. All what i said was true for Germany. Countries who are losing a war tend to look like their economy is running very good on paper until you look closer. Only once the government funds run out and they can no longer pay their industry to keep pumping out military hardware suddenly their gdp collapses as its true economy comes to light. GDP includes domestic industry it doesnt matter for the GDP number is those a healthy economy products like electronics or cars or if they are weapons to be send abroad and blown up with no economic return on them. Not products that will increase economic development.

@@tamdang8346 Yes but we arent spending 40-50% of our governments budget on the military. The highest out of all us is the one of the Americans and even they are just spending 13% of their annual government budget on the military. The Russian economy is now heavily propped up by government spending on military hardware. Here in the west its only a fraction of the economy. Trade is our biggest factor of the economy. "for an inflated economy it would not be working for long" it can hold out quite long. It is impossible to give you a number. The Soviet economy even while isolated and doing poorly still lasted for multiple decades. Germany fought for 3-4 years on the backfoot before they finally collapsed. A country losing doesnt mean its over in a month. The Russians stayed in Afghanistan for 10 years before they finally left. Right now theyve been in Ukraine for 10 years too. And still havent left. Covert cabal youtuber counted the tanks they have left in storage from sattelite footage and counted enough tanks to still continue losing hardware for another 1,5 to 2 years. So who knows how much longer can hold out. At some point their economy will break but this can happen a year from now or maybe 5 years. We cant foresee the future. For instance China might aid them and give support which extends the time period. My country fought for independence for 80 years. That is almost a century. Spain held out for nearly a century before they said the cost is too much we surrender. Russia in ww1 was losing for 3 years before they gave up so we dont know.
