I played through twice today. The game is super fun. Fast paced and great quality. I backed the all in and have zero regrets. Lost both times. Lol. I'll play one more round tonight. This was a great play through. Thanks for such a great video/walk through.

This is really interesting. I don't have many bag builders...well any really. Isofarian is coming someday but that is it. Particularly like the speed of the game

I am not sure about it, I think you should have use one more evade to kill the boss because of the ability of your ship

So when you said you must discard a token when your shields are damaged, do you mean when they are fully depleted or anytime they take damage?

For each point of shield damage you suffer, you have to trash a token from your discard pile. In a way, this "culling" of your bag can be good, getting rid of the weakest chips, but it also makes you have fewer chips overall, and thus gives you less time to work through a wave and attack the boss before you have to warp again.

Is it frustrating to have to keep battling through the horde of lackies each warp?

Nope! You get to learn which ships are in there, and it's very fast regardless. Also, some of the bosses are different. You can fight them the entire time, so it's more about managing the horde. Kind of like what you see when I fight the robot here.

That's a great point! But I feel like the designs are basically homages to those great games, in any case.

I like it but seems alot like deep space d6. But with a few more mechanics mixed it

I agree, but I don't think that's a problem. My biggest hesitance with Deep Space d6 was that, after playing it a bunch, it felt like I had very little choice or agency. This one gives me a greater feeling of variety and actually making decisions.

@@OneStopCoopShop Yeah I am with you - I haven't backed yet, as I already own Deep Space D6 (and 2019 hurt my wallet for boardgame kickstarters). Following with interest though.

@@callum5257 2019 was painful for sure :) I still haven't heard what the price point will be for Warp's Edge. I'm hoping in the $20-30 range, which I think would be totally worth it. $40 would be a tougher pill to swallow...

I opted for Deep Space D6 Armada over this one. Better art IMO.

I'm excited to see more of Armada's gameplay. I like what he's previewed so far! But I love bag building, so both games will have a place in my collection.
