In this video I list the reasons why you should watch "Warrior" on Netflix. At the end I make a joke about watching this over The Last Airbender but so far I’m actually liking it more than I expected to so I think you can watch both if you want. Warrior is just better and more adult.

Thrilled that Netflix has breathed new life into this masterpiece! Undoubtedly, it stands as one of the best shows, if not the very best, I've ever seen on TV. As an Asian American, certain scenes were gut-wrenching due to the constant racial slurs and violence against the Chinese people . Nevertheless, based on its merits, it unquestionably warrants a fourth and fifth season. Let’s go Netflix!!

Absolutely incredible show, in every way! Binged the 3 seasons 6 times, including this weekend on Netflix. Writing, directing, acting, action, costumes, sets, music, it has so many things going for it, there’s no surprise it has such a strong following all over the world. Fighting now for a S4 if Netflix sees they’ve got a winner on their hands. (#6 in America’s Top Ten after just a couple of days.) They’ve done tremendous research. Real stories, actual characters (Ah Toy was a real life Chinatown madam), and action by the amazing Brett Chan & Co.

A masterpiece. Warrior is one of the most captivating, well written, and superbly acted series ever made, right up there with Breaking Bad. Just acquiring Warrior redeems Netflix in spite of all the painfully predictable trope-heavy action pablum full of uninteresting one-dimensional characters and ludicrous premises they have been pushing lately. If Netflix announces they are not making more Warrior, or are making more but without trying to get the same team that created the first three seasons, I will cancel in protest. Bruce Lee's legacy is honored.

And what's even more sad is that it hits all the ESG crap without sacrificing storytelling or charecter development. There are strong female leads both Asian and White, there's a gay and lesbian representation and black representation as well that are all respected or purposeful charecters.

It called a bruce lee legacy. They adapted lots of Lee's movies scenes to become a whole series. One from enter the dragon one from fist of fury. Love how they'd done it

This could be such a huge show. It all depends on if they get any marketing at all, which they probably won’t. Smh. It’ll still stand on its own. It’s a great binge watch. It could almost be GOT big…. But MAX did em dirty in the beginning. Hopefully Netflix can save it and give us Season 4 and maybe a 5

It is very surface level if you just view this show as racial bias against asians, there is plenty of racial bias against the Irish for the rich americans, who use the chinese and irish against each other. Each side hated each other and had pride in their people, both sides where suffering and yeah your gonna have to get rough pick a side and fight to keep your people going. The irish needed jobs, but the chinese were cheaper, irish try to negotiate but lash out on chinese who are also just trying to get work. People should see this show on how the politicians use us against each other.

This show isn't teaching world class leassons. That's common sense. Not seeing how you got that from this show. They touch on it & that's deep as it goes. The irish had racial bias against them? It was about money. Period. Irish made it about race on the show. The irish screwed themselves time & time again blowing things up & being racist. @@nash_6908 I just finished the show. I stayed spoiler free. Now I'm just trying to see what everyone else thinks. I mean yea they're all corrupt on some lvl even today. Even if they were going to get more into that. It's the scenes like when Buckleys newly engaged gf turns out to be just playing him & working with his assistant. But it was too late in the show for stuff like that cause it went no where. The best character in that relam was Strickland I think. The rich guy with the sword. I have no problem with his character. But nothing about him paying off politicians & using dirt to get his way was nothing new to me. The Wire has done the best break down of that on a TV series for me. Idk just too many lose ends/storylines by the end of season 3. & for the life of me can't figure why having Ah Saham running to save Mai Ling was their decision. Makes everything seem pointless. He could've chose sides way sooner if that was going to happen. & had Mai Ling & Ah Saham Vs Father Jun & Yung Jun. That would've been more interesting to me. Or have Ah Saham fully committed to the Hop Wei and go after Mai Ling head on...

@@TacsFinest Maybe im just observant like that but I could see the effects of economics. The Mayor and Politicians were obsessed with filling their pockets they were fine with working with anyone. The Irish being in the US longer felt they deserved the first offer but cost to much, the chinese willing to do anything cost less so what is a business man to do. Irish see Chinese take their jobs, most were average people. Most average people don't go for the head of the snake for change so the rage on the chinese. I just saw the economics creating the stage for the conflict. The show had more depth then what people are saying, thats what I wanted to convey.

Great storyline , good cast with classic cinematography . Nowadays can hardly find an exciting and entertaining series. Binge watching all 3 seasons. Keeps u wanting for more after each chapter. Very far and few series makes u crave for more. Hope they continue with season 4.

this might be the best show i’ve ever seen in my life and it rivals a ton of amazing series. its just something about the storytelling, pacing and flawless brutal combat that simply blend perfectly together into this piece of art that’s conveniently displayed for literally everybody to watch… as much as i crave for a forth season, i think the series ended perfectly the way it is… it really hurts me to say it, cuz i’d really want a game of thrones kind of warrior with at least 10 seasons, but i’m simply afraid doing more will ruin the perfection the show actually managed to achieve…

The companion series to this show is Banshee. Also made by Warrior creator jonathan tropper. The actor for Wang Chao, Hoon Lee, plays Job in the show and of course he's the best character in Banshee also. It also has antony starr (homelander). I recommend the show if you liked Warrior.

Don't know how I stumbled on this show but it's awesome. Just finished watching all the seasons, I do wish there would be another season. I recognized 2 people, one was Kong who is the face of the TV show Iron Chef America and also the bar owner when Ah Sahm and Young June stop in the middle of nowhere with the body to transport to China that has all the gold in it. The bar owner is Masuka in the popular show Dexter.

This series has the best most realistic fight scenes i've ever seen in my entire life, i'm 60..seen all the Bruce Lee movies when they first came out bought the vhs's when they came out therefore watching many many times and loved B. Well done, this video!!!! The insight, the info abt WHY this show is said to be influenced by Bruce Lee, Sharon Lee’s amazing happenstance find of her late father’s 8-pager… I mean, BRUCE LEE’s GOTTA BE so proud how much that his 8-page idea had come to fruition in 2024 [I truly believe his spirit is alive from some where that we can NOT comprehend!] (& probably hinted to Shannon Lee, some time b4 his own demise, even:) “Shannon, I have some thing special for YOU BUT, you must NOT LOOK @ what it is, until after I will die {or something to that effect?} idk just allowing brain/mind to wander but 😅 Wow, season 4 of Warrior, despite the fact that it’s gonna have to be, @ earliest, starting-to-physically-be-filmed, 2025 (I believe THAT is b/c all of the actors involved, will not all be actually free to all work together until 2025?)… my apologies, I’ve forgotten where I was leading to w/ this but… ANY WAY, so glad that in our present time, such an UNPARALLELED & EXCEPTIONAL SHOW has blessed us onto our earth reality & I just KNOW that when Season 4 happens, it shall be WELL WELL WELLLLLL WORTH THE WAIT!!! I didnt know what to watch. I did try Avater than i saw warrior.. I tried 1st eposide and was hooked on it. Binged all 1 to 3 seasons in one week. Loved it fighting, action, sex, and gore.

Hopefully season 4 happens and if season 4 does that BEST character better get taken care of! I couldn't imagine watching a season where he isn't in it. Also Asam is Storm Shadow from the Snake Eyes movie and Li Yong is SubZero from Mortal Kombat. Only two actors I recognized so I'm with you. It was nice seeing new faces for a change.

Just started watching a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't being promoted but popped up in Netflix feed and found out the connection to Bruce Lee. I don't binge watch season after season in a weekend because you can't enjoy it as much as pacing yourself even if you want to keep going. Just need to rotate with other shows.

This show has been canceled twice and shuffled around to three different streaming services in the last five years. It's not because it's a bad show, but simply because it hasn't attracted enough viewers, which really sucks because it's so damn good and deserves way more exposure. I really hope Netflix decides to continue the series and picks up season 4.
