In this vlog we also share our full review of The Castle Dungeon and watch the spectacular Falconers Quest show. Along with that we take a stroll through the beautiful grounds of Warwick Castle including the gardens, towers and interior rooms!

Looks great! Last time I went to Warwick Castle there was a fire alarm while we were on Guy's Tower. Super busy day which meant we had the longest and slowest fire evacuation in human history! False alarm though. Trebuchet was the highlight.

The dungeon setting is pretty good, being set in a castle. It feels more naturally scary.

Thanks Shawn and Charlotte for visiting one of the attractions, that I’m proud to say is local to me and right on my door step! It’s great to hear your take and views on Warwick Castle! Shortly before you arrive at the castle you go over a bridge that overlooks the river and you get the most fantastic view of the gardens with the backdrop of the Castle itself! St Nicholas’ Park is just opposite there. Great to go for a second attraction and visit both in one day. Did you both go to the Wetherspoons on Market Square afterwards? Glad to hear you both had such a great time! ☺️

I remember going here loads as a child and the one year they asked my Dad to go in the trebuchet! They gave him an outfit to wear in it too :D Great day out.

Nice to see the castle as it is today. I remember it when I visited it in 1987 and I couldn’t remember half of what I just saw on your vlog. I certainly don’t remember those birds of prey flying around or indeed the wax figures, but perhaps that’s just my memory. I think the castle looks so much like Framingham Castle in Suffolk which was made famous by the singer son writer Ed Sheeran. Anyway nice vlog Shawn and Charlotte 👌

Oh wow! I haven’t been here since I was a kid, the princess tower was the highlight for me (they even tested if I was a princess, and I was!), glad to hear that shows still going on! In fact, I’m super surprised how little things have changed! Still a gorgeous castle and I would love to go back sometime!

Yeah and the gruffalo is we’re a mouse is trying to get a nut but he doesn’t wanna share with people so he has to lie but then he realises how scary he really is and instead of doing the good thing he rather scares all his Friends and scares a 20x bigger monster moral of the story don’t be a wanker like the mouse 🐭

You should go to a place called WILD at Bobbington vineyards between Bridgenorth and Wolverhampton. Not a big place but they have the largest free flying bird display in the country.

It’s the skeleton Smiler as he can have a Cryptkeeper laugh. 😆 As I keep telling you and Charlotte about The Royal Armouries, that will be on your and her bucket list and there’s another museum in Leeds that you and Charlotte can go as it’s Leeds City Museum. But there was no sign of Cyril Sneer when you and Charlotte saw the raccoon. I’ll be away with my mum and dad starting from tomorrow to their holiday house. Make sure you and Shawn get out there and keep on riding.😊

Warwick Castle is my local Merlin attraction and have to say I wish that playground was there when my son was little, the old one was more themed for slightly older kids then he was. Some of their events are great, especially Halloween and if you have little kids the Santa stories at Christmas.

There is a cool place called jumpin fun in derby and if you message them on Facebook you can film there. It's an inflatable place so maybe you would like it.

One thing that does annoy me about merlin is they never advertise parks such as Heida Park or Gardaland in the UK which I find strange as they are both some of the best parks in the chain

I guess they only want them to mainly appeal to people from those countries, however I agree that they should promote them here more as holiday destinations!

I think that they didn't want to put even more Julia Donaldson attractions to Chessington for a) marketing reasons, b) Zog is about a Dragon and captivating a Princess. Without taking too much away, Princesses tend to live in castles.

Warwick Castle is far too expensive £24+ for anyone over the age of 3 plus £6 parking, not to mention £8 for the dungeon. Merlin need to hand this back to English Heritage.
