I noticed if there is loot in front of me, even if I hold x instead of tap, it won’t let me reload. Only picks up the loot. Didn’t used to be like that. And sometimes chests are completely silent.

Theres also an issue with reloading near loot on the ground it just picks up more ammo even though im holding down square and have it set to prioritize it

How can a billion dollar company continually put out such a broken product? It’s like they don’t even test what they’re putting out! Smaller independent studios do a better job. It’s like they know people will still give them money regardless. It’s sad!

When Microsoft acquired the property, they let go all of the existing QA staff. Everything before this is fact, and from here on is my opinion: I think Microsoft probably switched QA to be in house, and/or they have barely anyone doing QA so they can squeeze every last dollar out of the budget. I'd combine this with what is likely a team as small as possible (from the perspective of Microsoft) that has just enough time to meet the deadlines for releasing content and probably little, if any, time to spare.

@@zeroshadowzs there are significantly less performance issues and bugs since the acquisition than there were in all iterations of WZ before the acquisition. Editing this to be clear, not defending the mistakes now or from the past, just saying your hypothesis about the acquisition being such a factor seems like it might not be the root cause.

Three huge glitches last night: couldn't reload, my reinforcement flare was invisible & no audio or smoke, just my hand in the air, I went back in the room thinking I didn't pick it up but my teammate was confused & said you used it I'm back! And at end game trying to reload it kept opening up my backpack, I couldn't even move with the backpack open. And yes, I lost. :( Very stressful.

Yep. Meanwhile the store works flawlessly year round. Why would I buy a ps5 or pc to play cod. When on the ps4 we have to download 32gbs, then 14GB for each content pack(4 of them) to play WZ then I get on and can’t reload while sprinting 😭😭

I set from auto tactical sprint to auto Sprint only and got absolutely no problems. I always push my stick for tactocal Sprint but can ez Reload every time

With this patch note, they show they can nerf/buff weapons any time they want. So all that time that was only SOA+HRM, could’ve been shortened… I wish they would buff some stuff, all this nerfs feels like it’s impossible to not hand hold like everyone else is smh

I've always played "sprint cancels reload" so i really haven't Even noticed it lol. I'm so used to going prone and hiding like a scared deer to reload so I'm all good 😂

I just made a change to the settings for now. I changed auto tac sprint to auto sprint and doing that stop the reload cancel, otherwise I have to stand in one spot to reload which was getting me smoked constantly

If a change requires a download it has to pass through XBOX and sony which allow it to go through on specific days. Other things like the store or even weapon tuning generally dont need that. Its case by case.

I think this entire engine is just not working properly. They should just scrap everything and start from the bottom up imo. The amount of bugs and gameplay issues this update introduced is just crazy. It's basically unplayable now, especially with the constant lag spikes

engines for games like CoD don't fall from the sky, they take years to build. also new engine doesn't solve anything if it's made by the same people using the same practices such as lack of proper testing.

There's also a bug where every couple seconds it randomly switches from weapon to killstreak (airstrike/uav...). And it doesn't matter what i'm currently doing, it happens no matter what, while standing still, sprinting, aiming, firing...

They need to fix the jak warden ammo in warzone. Damage on the slugs and ball ammo are way lower than intended. The ammo does the same as buckshot but with less pellet count. For comparison, in MP the slugs do 200 dmg to the head and 60 to the chest. In warzone it does 40 to the head and 30 to the chest. Must have been a typo and the buckshot dmg profile got accidently used.

If you hold the reload button, rather than pressing it, it stops the sprint from cancelling it.

I called this on whosimmortal channel, i knew this would have to be a downloadable fix. This not only changed warzone, but multiplayer too. They need 2 applications instead of COD HQ.
