I’ll let you know right now. Shadowban loop is not fixed. I already got shadowbanned 4 times this season.

the problem is that there are accounts that are shadowbanned with each report, and others that are never shadowbanned. it is an obvious system error. the truth is only one, they are extremely lucky incompetents, as soon as there is decent competition they will fail.

Funny how the shadowban loop was meant to be fixed and now its worse then ever in the new COD. I got banned after two games

I think Shadow Bans "addressed" is a better title, but I love the stuff you follow up on. On point every time. The "malicious reporting" is a weak fix. I am so glad that they have addressed the reporting system though. It is a start.

Shadowban loops were not fixed. i was shadowbanned 18 times already ( 2 times after this update)

When i saw the bulletin today about malicious reporting i was hopeful and pretty excited that i can finally play without being shadow banned… unfortunately my third game in i got shadow banned and this makes my 7th time being shadow banned. activision clearly acknowledges the shadow ban problem but it isn’t fixed unfortunately and it’s super frustrating…. especially coming from a player that doesn’t cheat at all. @JGOD are you able to put me through with an “agent” ?

just got shadow banned in warzone after killing one guy cause we landed on the same roof...... The shadowbanning problem is not fixed at all, this only happens to me in WZ

Got shadowbanned the evening of this update...4 man team spam reporting me till I disconnected. 😤 nothing has changed.

There's not really a fix in this at all. The fix is supposed to be "we will punish people opening false reports" but that doesn't mean anything if their reports are still being opened. We will still be shadow banned, and now so will they? I mean cool, I guess. But this games cycle is almost over and some of us haven't been able to play more than a couple days without getting shadow banned. Too little, WAY too late

My wife was permabanned from cod and they could never give her a reason as to why. She was a casual multi-player and never used a microphone. Everytime she would submit a ticket a robot just said your permabanned.

Bro i have been stuck in a shadowban loop for almost 2 months now. I play 3 rounds, get shadowbanned for 7 days, play 3 rounds and another 7 days shadowban. ON REPEAT. Been spamming the support with tickets meanwhile.

I'm really interested to know of the nerfing of players is actually a thing, after dropping some pretty good Vondel games 20 kills+ It gets to a point where future games it feels like my guns are shooting marshmallows and the character feels like it has a pack of bricks on there back.

Had my gamer tag reported in game, nothing wrong with it, got a message saying we strongly advise you to change it or face further action, maybe the players doing all this reporting should be banned for false claims.

Bought a $5000+ 4090 PC with zero programs installed. I play, drop a 15-20, auto shadow ban, forced to use my PS5 and can drop 30’s all day and ZERO shadow bans. So disgusting. No fixes just got shadow banned last night after 1 month of no bans (because I was using PS5) first 3 hours on PC, WHAMMM SHADOW BAN. FKKKK ACTIVISION.

I got one single solitary shadowban and saw how opaque the overall ban process is; with no real recourses for users, uninstalled every CoD title I owned. My friend group plays way less and we’ve started other games. No way am I gonna risk a ban showing up on my perfect history, old enough to vote, Steam account. I just won’t spent $250-$400 a year on CoD now. And I’ll keep telling everyone this story.

just got my 3rd shadow ban 2 days ago... i only use discord, no 3rd party software, it all comes from sore loser's rage reporting. So, glad to see they might get a taste of their own medicine soon!

That's some good info I was shadow banned on warzone 1 on console twice and now mw2 I'm shadow banned for the 2nd time they need to start white listing good players it's becoming a joke. Can't activision do a link or website that scans people hardware to see if anything is on there to prove if they're hacking to stop these shadow bans it would be so much easier and quicker.!

Above average players will get shadowbanned, its a gurantee and a huge probelm....

my temporary review ended and then i played two games of snd and then i got placed under review again... the shadow ban loop is still a problem, ricochet isn't very good at their job

The shadowban loop has unfortunately not been fixed with the latest Ricochet update. And most likely Ricochet will not fix it either. The system does not work, but undoubtedly they also catch players who do cheat. I am now on the 8th time. After playing a few games I get disconnected and I'm "under review" again. I have done everything I can. Reinstall Windows for example, and only install the necessary software. Such as graphic driver, DirectX and Steam. Even my mouse software from Logitech is not installed. But unfortunately, this doesn't help either. When contacting support they just simply tell you that they can't help and the only thing we can do is report a bug or leave feedback. And this all started with getting 10 kills in a Plunder match.

If your waiting for a fix for the shadowban loop it’s just not worth it.. they had enough time to fix it and never did might as well just wait for mw3 to release or xdefiant 🤷

It's been almost three months without being able to play on my main account, because when I make more than 10 kills I take shandowban again and I spend 7 days in analysis, I changed my kit, processor, ram memory and motherboard, ask the operator to change my external IP, I've done everything and I still can't play properly. would know what to do and why is this spam reporting system so ridiculous? I'm stremer and I don't know what else to do.

Nope, ive been shadow banned three times since the update all started within a day of the other being lifted, my fourth shadow ban happened yesterday but at least it took like 3 after my previous one was lifted.

Was finally able to play last night after being shadowbanned. Dropped 2 15+ search and destroy games and I am shadowbanned again. You just can’t be good at the game play anymore, the reporting system is still flawed.

Im playing Mouse and Keyboard and getting shadowbanned on 3!! different Accounts in half a week. On two accounts i got like 2-3 shadowbans across 6 months already, everytime i get unbanned after 1-6 days. WTF Activision

My account is in a limited match making state at the moment, reason unknown but it may have been because of a bug? I was camping in a small building watching a door with a couple of mines down sat in a corner, in this corner was a supply box (One that respawns) and I was stood on it. The supply box regenerated so I looked down and opened it, as soon as I pressed X I was booted from the game! Anyone else had this?

February 2024, got wrongfully shadowbanned on my main, make a new account, 3 days after making the account i get shadowbanned midgame in a 1v1 situation for the win. I had 13 kills and 12 people reported me. Still havent heard of anybody getting banned for malicious reporting

Didn't work i guess. Got shadowbanned again last Friday (2nd Time in a month). I kinda like this game, i think they did a good work with wz2 but for me it is not playable at the moment. With this system they lose a loyal cod player for over 10 years like me. But unfortunately activision does not care.

The irony talking about people getting people banned from reporting them. When there is multiple videos of Repulse and other big content creators that you partner with for content reporting people and getting them banned because they lost a gun fight. I have not played since that clip went viral. Knowing that content creators are doing that in game is messed up. Please cover this subject soon so maybe Activision will take the creator's "buttons" away. It's not fair. They queue into pub lobbies. Not everyone that kills them is stream sniping. Sometimes it's the game, the ping and sometimes they just get out played.

Man, I still go to shadow ban lobbies. After I come out, I play for a few hours or 2 days, and I'm back again . Is getting annoying . I was out on Sunday play for few hours on Monday ,Tuesday and today I play for 3 hours I went off now I come to play and I'm on shadow ban again . Its been like this since ends of May.

Well it´s been 7 day i have been perma banned for unknown reason at all! I am trying every single day to get my account back! I have never been disappointed in my life! TIme,money fun is all gone! I have evidence on my stream, the day before ban i have been streaming and very next day there was PERMA(IP). Hope one day there will be justice.
