I’m Argentinian and I believe Messi is the goat but Diego is the most talented player in the history of the sport. That left foot was magical.

I remember Valdano, thas was an argentinian striker also, was in the game in Mexico when Maradona scored the best goal in history against England, Maradona picked the ball half court and proceeded to pass every player on his way, like eight including the goalkeeper and scored. And Valdano recalls getting to the locker room, and Maradona came to him and said something like "sorry man, I was trying to pass the ball to you, but they were defending you" ... and Valdano told in an interview "this man just made an unbelievable goal, and inmense task... and on top of that, he was keeping track of where I was, I fell so humbled and humiliated by his greatnest right there".

And everything he achieved was achieved on weak teams ... he was never on teams with the best players of his time. He had to face the best players and teams. Messi has been great, but he has been great in the best teams of his era and playing with some of the best players of his era. No one had the context of Diego ... no one ... all the other greats in soccer history played for the best teams of their eras with several of the best teammates and national teams of their time. Diego was the best of all!

Can somebory explain me why do you think he was the best?? because I can't find any reason.. he didn't win 3 world cups like Pelé (and didn't have as many goals, not half of his goals). He wasn't skillful like Ronaldinho, He wasn't objective like Ronaldo or Romario. the most important goal of his career was irregular. So I ask again, what made him the best? I only accept answers from non argentines

Man you don’t understand this thats why u confused.’ Ama give you example pele played only in brasil wen them best players used to played in Europe then pele played in usa a very amateur league , pele dont have 3 world cups he have 2 because the third one he only play 1 game and got injured ans end up watching the world cup on tv also in pele era Only 14 countries uses to play the world cup not 24 like maradona era, there is no video that shows his 1000 goals also he was striker so obviously his job was scored goals wile maradona used to be the brain of the team and a midfielder the bain of the game.’ Also pele only played in brasil wile most professional leagues of all time seria a and he played for napoli a poor team who never won anything before maradona or after , i think here you have your answer

@@carmelomalacalza8981 Man, you defnitely have to studie more about level of brazilian football back then. Santos beat almost every european team. And no, Pelé wasn´t a striker, he played in a 4-2-3-1 as one of three midfielders (preferably the most centralized) or as the team's only attacking midfielder (behind two forwards). If you're suggesting that Maradona was a more complete player than Pele I'm sorry but you're wrong. And saying that you don´t accept Pelé goals because the is no videos of all of them (in the 50´s and 60´s ???) shows the shalowness of your arguments. Maybe YOU don´t understand enough, that´s why you are confused.

Pelé is better than Maradona. For a miles... Pelé won his first World Cup with 17 years. He had three championship. He played 4 world Cups. The only player to had this. Remember that, a Cup just happens from 4 years 20(10/14/18/22). He had 1000 gols. The best player of football history. He had the same oportunities likes all players of his era and does all these things. Maradona was cutted by 90 Cup, was fat, won a Wolrd Cup making a gol with your hand. That thing these Argentinos dont talk about. They think that Mardona with a hand gol is better. Who can approach of him is Messi and Cr7 years ago with much more tecnology and medicine stats. With an advanced time at this sciences Maradona was done the same Cafu, but the left back from Brasil had 2 World Cups. Ronaldo had two too. Maradona was good but not the best of all time because he's not named Pelé.

Man you dont know much.’ Pele Won 2 world cups because 1 of them he only play 1 game and the rest of the world cup he was in bench.’ Pele was striker and its impossible to know how many goals he had plus they used to count goals in friendly games also wen pele as striker played the world dup there was only 16 countries not 24 so about goals its a very stupid excuse because pele job in the field was scored and maradona was the brain of the team the real midfielder with more goals and assists than any other midfielder he he have better free kicks than pele messi or ronaldo also pele only played in brasil and USA 🤦‍♂️ maradona played in small teams and he beat them all btw u think pele messi or cr7 could play as good like maradona living a rockstar life?
