Just so you all know, it is a myth that opening a door, or creating a hole in the fuselage of a flying airplane is super hazardous, it WILL NOT suck the passengers out of the plane. If fact, they would not be SUCKED but BLOWN out, the pressure is HIGHER inside the plane. But the pressure differential is NOT great enough to cause the forced evacuation of the plane. As proof, Navy SEALs regularly jump from very high altitudes by opening the tail door of planes flying them to their missions - at altitudes as high as many commercial jets.

Ahh I love this british show, "Just connect"...I mean "8 out of 10 cats does countdown"...I mean "8 out of 10 cats"...I mean "As Yet Untitled"...I mean "Would I lie to You"...I mean "Taskmaster"...what's the name of that british show where the same 8 comedians sit around and have conversations? You know the one with Rhod Gilbert, David Mitchell, Lee Max, Jimmy Carr, Jonny Vegas, Joe Lycett, Phill Jupitus, and that one canadian woman Katherine Ryan?

Does anyone know why this show was cancelled?
@Trillock-hy1cf4 жыл бұрын
I think it was dumped because of bad ratings, and only ran for one season in 2003. I also agree with the decision to cancel it.

it is more of the same. The UK has many shows like this, often with the same small group of mostly comedians who make them possible. Like 'Would I lie to you?' which basically is the same concept as: 'Was it something I said?' This one, in the end, didn't stand out in particular. I also think, personally, David isn't cut out to be a presenter/host - though I like him very much.

@@corbeau-_- Agreed. WILTY is a great show, and generally have a good panel, like Bob Mortimer, Rhod Gilbert, Henning Wehn, Cariad Lloyd, Mel Giedroyc, Lucy Porter as some examples. 'Was it something I said', just wasn't up to scratch, as you say David is great on a panel, but not so good as a host. I also like him too, especially on WILTY. It's like cookery shows, one appears that is quite good, and then other channels spawn their cookery shows, which are a bit poop. Luckily the shows that do house make overs seem to have run out of steam now....I think, because again there were far too many of them. Reality shows are even worse, and one is enough full of gormless people, and far too many now.

I gave up after and four and half minutes, despite David hosting the show, as I found them to be a bit lefty, and not that funny, and never heard of the girl either, and is supposed to be a comediene? Never heard of this show either, until I saw an episode in the 'side bar' and thought I would give it a try. First and last time too.

it ran for one season. For basically the things you just put out. It is more of the same, a mix of 'Would I lie to you?', 'mock the week' and 'Q.I.' (and perhaps 'The big fat quiz of the year' as well).
@Trillock-hy1cf4 жыл бұрын
@@corbeau-_- Thanks. I haven't watched much of 'Mock the week, The big fat quiz', because they don't appeal to me....at all, although I have watched a couple of each, to make my decision....:) I like 'Qi' with either Stephen or Sandi, as it turns out she is quite good. Again it depends on the guests, as some of them I have never heard of, or, box ticked ones who are not as funny as they think.
