@@lesliebarber206 let me break it down too you. lebron's poor play is a result of his jumper being beyond garbage at the moment. his finishing at the rim and the amount of times he's getting his shots at the rim are aligned with his career averages. he's been very efficient from 2 point range. it's these nonsense 3s he's been jacking up like 8 times a game that are leading to these poor performances. lebron averaged 29 ppg in 2023 to think he wouldnt play in 2024 is nonsense.

Well, Bird is more skilled as he made up for lack of athleticism. He provided the assists without Lebron's turnover rate. Lebron has a 37% midrange shot. 2009 Lebron relied heavily on athleticism. Today's Lebron can atleast score 34% from 3 pointer, but Bron still relies heavily on upclose baskets that are within 5 ft. Bird is more skilled, and so are players that dont rely on upclose shots

Keep in mind while you’re watching this that there are people actually out there that think he wouldn’t be good in the 80s/90s

No. Mainstream Lebron would not play as well in that era. Most Lebron fans began watching basketball in 2016 and are unaware of initial Lebron. This version of Lebron would play well in the 80s and 90s. But 2000s Lebron is not the version of Lebron in GOAT conversations

2000s Lebron isn't the version of Lebron in GOAT conversations. The version of Lebron included in GOAT debates is quite different. This version of Lebron would fit in with power houses like Shaq who also dominated. But the debates regarding Lebron in the 80s/90s is involves late 2010s Lebron. The specific version of Lebron used in the debates

In a weird way this makes me appreciate Kobe more because he was considered a step above Bron during that period only person compared to this version of Lebron Was Kobe.. I haven’t seen Lebron this fast in so long it’s scary to see a big man move this fast sheesh

Chris Paul was quicker Derrick rose was faster Dwight was stronger and Gerald Green jumped higher but Lebrons combinations are what makes him the best. Kobe was a better scorer Nash was a better passer Howard was a better Rebounder Wade was a better defender but Lebron mixed all that with a 6’8 250 frame. GOAT
