Theres a lotta things to complain about omni man in mk1. 1, in red rush fatalitiy, one of the most brutal fucking deaths, they didnt even complete it; he just pulled his head off, sliced him in HALF with it however the hell that works. It'd BE really cool if their head popped into eyeballs, brains, and blood. This dude is right aswell. Besidse, hes legit said that "Omni man is still a cool character tho. Im just saying that it'd be nice if they did some comic references." Yet that didnt manage to go into your thick skull and into your tiny brain.

Yeah, Omni-Man is mostly known by people by the TV show version, if you ask somebody about what's the most remarkable did of Omni-Man, almost everyone will answer that it's the train scene, him punching bagging Mark or him exploding Red Rush's head , because that's what he's known for. If they put the comics feats of Omni-Man in MK, people would not understand shit nor would think they've put his remarkable feats in it.

I am putting myself in your shoes on the basis that yeah, there's more to the character and their missing out on some of that, but people for the most part are only familiar with him.... Because of the TV show, hence the usage and move/ cosmetic consideration.

Not only it was to avoid spoiler, but i think this Omni-Man is more of a manace than the Old Omni-Man. He is not care about other being, seeing his race as a godly being, just more terifying, you can feel that he is evil the menacing aura, plus it was a nice contras on Homelander. I mean we don't wanted Old Omni-Man lecturing Homelander about moral and be better, we wanted Omni-Man to absolute roasting, destroys and humbles Homelander.

also when he floats in the air he bobs up and down after a brutality. According to the show Viltrumites can create their own leverage anywhere and thus "fly" but that means they could stay still in the air like standing on the ground.

Invincible reached the mainstream with the tv show so thats what they're going to promote. Little comic easter eggs would sadly go over 90% of peoples heads unless it was in Invincible S1 and the released part of 2. Just wouldnt make business sense. Like if JK Simmons didnt voice him i honestly wouldn't have gotten the kombat pack already knowing Anthony Star isnt doing Homelander

It's all planned, NRS knows that invincible will get new seasons and after it comes out they'll update Omniman with packs and bundles, so that they can get seasonal incomes. Bro even I as a regular average Joe could know thats a smart plan, that's why they put him first before peacemaker.

they probably felt the tv series was more familiar. Not everyone reads comics. I mean im disappointed the comic is basically being ignored, show AND game. The show removed some stuff from the comics (although ive seen people complain they left out the *ahem* sexy bugs which I dunno if that's worth the complaint) some very good moments. Like when Omni-man reacted to the thraxians getting killed. The dialogue in the comic was alot better than in the show. Hell, what omniman says to the viltrumites was alot better too.
