Yesterday I was driving down the street and I saw a body laying on the ground in one of the richest counties in the USA - Loundon County VA. I put down my window and asked if they were ok, and they said no. I immediately called 911 and gave an exact address to where I was. As I approached the body I realized it was a 14 year old boy who had fallen off his bike. He was bleading from his head / face. Had two broken arms. They were broken in multiple places, and one was a compound fracture. It took 9 minutes and 30 seconds for the ambulance to get there. And another 2-3 minutes for them to park and get out to help him. It was longest 9:30 of my life. I thought he was going to die. Luckily they got him and since he was awake the whole time they said he should be ok. But yea man they always take forever.
