There's an alternate ending where after the beat the ghost and are celebrating at the bottom of the stairs they realize they are all dead and ghosts except for Cindy. She was the only survivor. And the main movie this is parading is called The Haunting, it has Owen Wilson in it.

The Wayans Family are all incredibly talented and they've been making great parody movies for a long time. You should also check out some time, I'm Gonna Git You Sucka and Don't be a Menace as well! Both are directed by Keenen Ivory Wayans and are parodies of Black Spoliation and 90s Hood films respectively!

Funfact : Brenda had way more scenes, in fact this is the movie where she's discovered to be semi- psychic, you'll understand what I mean in the third movie if you watch it. and tori spellings character ( the one with the pigtails) has way more scenes also but her scenes were cut because she refused to do a topless scene. Which I find very messed up. Her scenes are funny and gives more background on her character.

I love how they also referenced What Lies Beneath. That movie freaked me out so much as a kid lmao ( The red dress etc ) 13:02 And that Basketball thing was referencing a Nike commercial from 2000/2001 😭 ! It was everywhere at one point. Lmao I miss The Wayans brothers writing these films and all the references 😭 ! It all went to shit after Scary Movie 2! Hollywood stole it from them. They basically started the chain or idea of all these parody/reference movies.

Ahhh can't wait for the 3rd to this franchise! Hopefully you understand beforehand how different it is from the first lmao, it was written and directed by different people I believe, and it's PG13 compared to the first two, so be prepared for the intense comedy to go down a little. Personally I love the 3rd the most, so I hope you see it the same way! Excited for more collabs dude!!

While the first one was very similar to Scream this one mainly goes off the movie The Haunting with obviously some other movie references as well (The Exorcist, What Lies Beneath, Charlie's Angels etc.). FYI The Haunting is a good movie and it's with Liam Neeson, Owen Wilson and Catherine Zeta Jones. Love this collab with you two!

Here we go since I watched the one on his channel his scream reaction was suggested and I LOVE that series but there are a lot of horror movies referenced here in the first it was mostly scream with a handful of references and a few ikwydls scenes

1:20 Someone probably already mentioned this, but the other film (not counting _The Matrix_ ofc) referenced a fair amount in the first film was _I Know What You Did Last Summer_ - also from the '90s. It wasn't as good as _Scream_ but the first _IKWYDLS_ was decent.

I like this movie series it needs Scary Movie 6 I would love to see them do Nightmare On Elm Street IT Stephen King moviesThe Conjuring and other haunted house horror movie spoofs. Especially with Brenda fighting Pennywise and Freddy Krueger lol.

Scary movie 2 is a parody of a movie called the haunting, a horror/love/thriller. Despite it’s score it’s a pretty good movie as long as you know it’s not a horror film.

I have quoted or have this movie quoted so many times with friends. This has to be the best of the series. I'm a huge horror fan and all the tiny parodies and references cracked me up. One of my all time favorite comedies.
