In a way, History is tryna repeat itself ,just like back in history. YES there was other slaves. But the most of them were in fact black. Now think about this. In today's world right now. Other races do of course get mistreated, Harassed etc. But the most popular is black. Nothing is different here except the fact that it isn't slavery today it's racism. But that's it. Again. Slavery is alive and well in Africa, and still practiced in the Middle East, yet your problem is not with societies that still continue with slavery, but with societies that abolished slavery... Really? Get real! By now Everyone should know that BLM is a Marxist political movement, using race to divide peoples, for political gains, And to defend them is to expose your own inherent racism, which is what BLM feed off. My first ancestor in America was a 10yr old boy, taken from his parents in Ireland to pay off their debts. He was brought to America and was slave for 25 years. They call it indentured servant. Love y'all 💓

I had viking ancestors and one time when my ancestors ate dinner they got invaded. They used a nicer term,´´ raided´´. They also forced them to change their religion or else my ancestors got burned. To make the story short they lost all vegetables and had a couple of hard winters ahead with no work. My grandfather used to tell me that my ancestors had difficulties traveling because nobody liked vikings back then. All I ask is an open mind and the lord will lead us on the right path.

Slavery on the Barbary Coast which existed between the 16th and 18th centuries in the Barbary Coast area of North Africa. According to Robert Davis, between 1 million and 1.25 million Europeans were captured by Barbary pirates and sold as slaves in North Africa and The Ottoman Empire between the 16th and 19th centuries. However, these numbers have been challenged by other historians, such as David Earle, author of The Corsairs of Malta and Barbary and The Pirate Wars. From bases on the Barbary coast, North Africa, the Barbary pirates raided ships traveling through the Mediterranean and along the northern and western coasts of Africa, plundering their cargo and enslaving the people they captured. That is true. Look at East Indian. I know for a fact my ancestors (from DNA testing) were slaves, and worse than the African slave trade when you look into their stories and a Caste system also screwing my blood line. With respect, the word "slave" is derived from "Slav," as in Eastern Europeans of Slavic decent. Slavery is a human universal. Every race has experienced.

The result is that between 1530 and 1780 there were almost certainly 1 million and quite possibly as many as 1.25 million white, European Christians enslaved by the Muslims of the Barbary Coast.

Half, literally every race has been both master and slave. The origin of the word slave is "Slav" because so many Slavic people were slaves. Over a million Europeans were kidnapped from Europe and brought to Africa as chattel slaves during the Barbary slave trade. This was the same time period as American slavery. Expand your horizon. You are not the only people to live through the hell of slavery.

But we’re also taught of what Europeans went through with the Ottoman Empire which was hundreds of years, the holocaust. Did you know there’s slaves right now in Africa? @@sashajolie8995 but you can't speak for an entire demographic. We understand and know the history of others who faced hardships because it is often taught in the school systems. When it comes to the painful history of Black history. We are told to get over it and get past it. When it comes to 911 there is sorrow and compassion. When it comes to the holocaust there is sorrow and compassion. When it comes to the events of the Tuskegee experiments. Emmit till. Rosewood massacre. Tulsa race riots. Lynchings in the south. Multiple hate crimes and other racial riots. Birmingham bombing of the 4 little black girls at the Black church. The black woman hung in a public square, in the 1900s, her baby cut out of her stomach, stomped to death, and also Black babies used as alligator bait. And many many more events that lead up to today. There is this notion of getting over it. But there is no acknowledgment of the pain and suffering it caused, that does affect the system, today. No one is asking white people to feel guilty for things committed in the past, but there is at least an acknowledgment, compassion; and admittance of how evil it was, and that there needs to be a healing process of moving forward.

It is my belief that 98% of Americans do not want other Americans to struggle and live in poverty, they want everyone in this country to live well. Here is what happened, the economy was booming and people were getting off federal assistance. That is why Dem run cities locked down. Dems cannot maintain power if they lost control of the system so they crushed the economy and jobs to bring people back on federal programs. My hope is that everyone wakes up to what is going on and we come together and stop the game.

Not true! People need to read 2 books?! One is called- They Was (W)hite and They Was Slaves (W)hite Cargo It says that the 1st (w)hite people in America in 1599, was slaves. It was poor Irish & British Christian slaves, predominantly Irish people. I know this because my mom's side of the family are Irish & even told me this when I was a kid. I have seen videos of African Americans even waking up to this truth & exposing it. I can even show their videos!

I’m Irish American. My ancestors came to this country and lived in the anthracite coal region of pa. They worked in coal mines as young as 8 years old. Lived in houses owned by there coal mine owners and bought food from stores run by these same coal mine owners. They died everyday in the mines and still today many people die there because of a disease called black lung. We can sit and say man these coal owners for 150 years have been killing my people and kept my people down or we could do like we did and got the fuck up and rose above it and overcame it. I didn’t experience what they did and I’m grateful they made us what we are today, but I would never use what happened to them as my struggle. There struggle enabled me not to struggle. Black lives do matter but not any more than any other color, race, ethnicity of any other life.

I don't want to start anything but I feel like I have to point out that every race was enslaved at some point. Blacks whites Asians Hispanics etc. Regardless most of that is in the past. There have not been slaves in America for hundreds of years. Instead of focusing on the past slavery in America (while it is horrible) we should focus on countries that slavery is still legal in...

Nope, Jews were enslaved by several empires throughout history and almost eliminated. And yes I am mixed half Jewish and half Hispanic. So I use to get acted from ever growing up. The only thing I knew when I was growing up in a mixed urban area was we all had one thing in common we were all poor. Color was never a problem in my neighborhood we were just trying to survive.

Have you ever heard of the helots they were spartan slaves and the Spartans would wage wars on them every autumn to control their population and prevent revolts and that went on for a long time so I wouldn't necessarily say that only black people have been subjected to slavery for 250 year because I'm sure that along with the Helots many ethnic people have gone through slavery and possibly far worse conditions and treatment for the same amount of time

I think his main point on the “name” black lives matter is it has caused a division between us. A different name to the cause could have joined us against what is happening out there. Whether it is Police Brutality towards Blacks, Latinos, or Asians. What about changing the culture from the “Karen” who accuses a black kid of stealing from her strictly on the basis that he is black and nearby? If you are from Oklahoma it is Native Americans that are treated the same way as Blacks. Texas boarder - Latinos. Louisiana - Creoles. Citizens against Profiling or Holding Government Responsible or any other name that fits the government dividing US! We need to remember that it is US against the Government. It is OUR responsibility to hold the Government responsible for their actions.

Wish y'all would have focused on that full verse rather than the BLM part more. It might not seem like it because of the programming but the system is screwing us all the same like it said. There might be some differences in the way its going down but we're all going down together. The differences have to do with creating a stronger division. As far as slavery is concerned... my friends, slavery has been around as long as humans have gathered in numbers, perhaps even before that. Its been a part of our nature since damn near the beginning (hence why its still going strong in other parts of the world like China, Africa, and the Middle East just to name a few). American slavery was different in the dehumanizing aspect by skin color though many slaves, if not all, are dehumanized to one extent or another in general. The system we are in is good at creating fake narratives, stirring emotion, etc. to mass manipulate the population through all forms of multi-media. They've had decades to gain a head start on us before the internet allowed us to uncover the BS. However, the information collection via social media, Google, and big tech in general has given them even bigger advantage on manipulating us. They have it down to a literal science. Unity by dropping the BS narratives of things like BLM, LGBT, feminism, etc. is the only way to escape the trap and create meaningful change. Its starts with ourselves, then our families, and finally our communities. Once that's complete we can take over the political landscape with this unity. In the mean time our spending power, online activity, and charity towards one another will make the difference. Peace and love my friends.

Oh I have polish blood and Poles were persecuted regularly they were looked at as inferior to German and English. Yet today Poland beat the system. They respect their families care about human lives have strong borders and also have had 0 terror attacks in several years. I've seen men in reactions saying how that joke would piss off "all the females". Haven't seen a female react to this yet who didn't laugh at that line. Wake up people. It was a joke.
