@@claymore2k1T10 It's relatively easy to argue that it's not poor repair work, just lousy choice of vehicle (and Tyler's touch of doom). Wizard clearly knows what he's doing, but Hoovie's combination of terrible choice of vehicle and ability to get cars to fail when they wouldn't fail for anyone else can make it look like there's shoddy work going on.

@@claymore2k1T10 You're insane if you think the Car Wizard does poor repair work - It's called a shakedown run. If he was worried about your opinion they would've simply shaken it down off camera. On older V-6 & V8 Benzes with m112 & m113 engines, the plastic cover on the coil can crack. They are then susceptible to misfires if they get wet or even high humidity days. Washing engine can lodge water in cavity between coil & valve cover. Same result = misfire. Tip: if cleaning engine unmount coil (1 Torx screw) put baggie over & lay to side. Problem solved !

The original one sounded more like a sewing machine with an aggressive cam, similar to the whooshing and clattering sounds you get with a Beatle. This just sounds like Subaru with a exhaust, which isn't bad thing, but they definitely sound different.
@jd1172
@jd1172 3 жыл бұрын
Lmao @ the people who think they sound similar. It's not even nuances, comparing the sound of an air-cooled Porsche flat-4 to a Subaru flat-4 is like comparing a flathead Ford V8 to an LS. They hardly sound similarly, besides the fluttering of 8 cylinders pulsing away.
