The wiring loom on the door is different as the facelift car has an impact sensor on the door itself. You can just leave it unplugged.

I've had cars with balder tyres delivered ha and always shocked me. Worse one was a 2017 ford kuga and all 4 tyres were bald and fronts were smooth 😬 replaced entire front right drivers side suspension including subframe and chassis wing support members. Was a family car as it had child seats in the back, I destroyed them before throwing away.
