I actually plopped in the same pool on my way down from Piers Gill and Scafell on a baking hot afternoon in August 2022. Great spot to revitalise.

Haha thanks, I think I was about to say “sweating cobs” as I say that, maybe I thought no one would know what I meant. We say that in Cheshire way👍

Great idea to go for a wild swim on a day like that! Beautiful views of the surroundings! The whole walk is so scenic, could watch this for hours. So epic to see the jets too before your dip in the pools, they look so majestic! This was great thank you so much for sharing!

Drigg maybe or Ravenglass but still quite far away

I think you might be able to get a bus from Ravenglass to Wasdale Head, but I’ve never done this myself so don’t quote me on it

Seascale is the nearest proper rail station. No bus service but you can get a taxi, £25 ish. Worth every penny!!

No sorry but it’s in Lingmell Beck as mentioned in the video, follow the path alongside the river and you can’t go wrong
