You made it work! I’m over two years loc’ed now and I want to try curl rods, but even with my loose hair I would have to leave the rods in for 24 hours if I wanted to air dry. With locs, it’s probably gonna take me even longer. Plus locs are tricky. They feel dry on the outside but can still be wet on the inside. I might need to invest in a hair dryer. I can’t spend two days in curlers 😂

Love the look. Typically do my perm rod set on wet hair but the only down side is i have to leave the rollers in for about two days. But we love a good perm rod set. Locs are just so versatile

I love this so much! I've been looking for looks for my wedding and I think this might be perfect!! 🥰 I'm hoping to save myself time, money and travel stress of having to go over to London to get my hair done (no one in my area does them professionally and London is the closest at 3 hours away). Going to keep practicing with perm rods though bc my first try didn't look good until day 3 lol.

You should try yellow or blue perm rods. A smaller size would probably work better.

Beautiful. The only downfall of rods they have to be completely dry. 😢 I slept in mine a full day and overnight lol

Its always such a gamble and you never really know if it dried completely until you remove the rod 🤦🏾‍♀️ lol

Yeah I tried some flexi rods and it was just ehhhh , 😭 I just will continue with my braid out crinklessss , maybe bantu knots I’ll try idk

Hello. Do you brush your locs at all? I see others brush their own locs from time to time, but I was wondering if the same can be done with loc extensions? Do you know?

I've never brushed mines before, I personally haven't found a need to. But I feel like you should be able to brush your extensions as long as they are secure.
