you should put water gently first and don't use water pressure to clean otherwise you will damage the car paint :)

for a car that was that dirty, that is no wash that was a preparation to then be washed, better hoped that clear coat was thick enough to withstand whatever chemicals that mud had in it

I’m a detailer and personally I think that cars had a coating of something you’ve sprayed mud or something onto it very evenly and just pressure washed it off if he left it like that over a long period of time there would be a film and your moving dirt without lubricant or loosening it scratching the motor

Make sure you clean all the water drain holes(there are many in BMWs). Some of those washed away dirt would definitely went down those holes and possibly clogging them. You might ended up with interior flood later.

RIP to the clear coat. I bet when they applied all of that mud it caused major scratches and pitting. That car will need an entire clay bar and buff and cut to make it look right. Otherwise you’ll see ALLLL of the damage in direct sunlight.

Oof. I don’t own a BMW or any other luxury car, and I never will, but I would be too afraid of damaging the paint by intentionally making it this dirty and then spraying it off like this. 🥴 Still satisfying to watch though, so thank you for subjecting it to this torture for our entertainment! 😂

I am not trying to brag but I drive a bmw. trust me its not as bad as you think its just like any other car it gets dirty the same and scratches the same whether it is a Toyota corolla or a rolls Royce it will all get dirty the same it just depends on how YOU take care of the car. take car of your car and your car will take care of you!

I usually rinse my truck off with free flowing water from the hose to get the mud off before jumping straight into pressure washing and using a foam cannon, but it could be me just being over cautious. I guess it would have to be a super high powered pressure washer to push the mud into the paint and cause damage like I was envisioning. That’s awesome! I like the look of BMWs, but my Lariat F250 is my “Cadillac” lol.
