We moved to an apartment with no washer or dryer. Instead of getting them, I decided to do our laundry by hand. Thanks for showing me how!

I love hanging my laundry, it is relaxing to watch and do!! I think my hands would fall off if I tried to wash all of it by hand. It really makes you appreciate all that people have done in the past to get by. There's something about doing things simply, like hanging laundry, that makes you feel good though. I wash my dishes by hand sometimes, even though I have a dishwasher.

I feel the same in regards to doing things simply. And I agree it does help you appreciate all the hard work that was done in the past. I’m so thankful for a washer! I had a washer for a very long time that did not agitate the clothes so I had to! It was so much work! I still pull out the laundry board for some things. 😊

My almost new washer quit just after my husband died 3 years ago. Have been washing most clothes by hand in the sink. Heavier stuff at the laundramat. Summer dry on the porch rail use electric drier in the winter. I actually rather enjoy it. If there was more than me I would buy a new washer tho'.

This was so satisfying to watch. I had done my laundry with a plunger before and now I’m just looking for other options. I had never seen anyone wring a sheet like that!

Yeah, I did mine with a plunger work. It was not fun. It definitely behooved me to get my washer fixed fast😂 but at least my clothes were clean

I'm watching a lot of washboard videos to see if it's a good investment. Cause my landlord is taking forever to get the washing machine fixed, (If she's even gonna bother getting it fixed). So I'm seriously considering getting a washboard and just doing my laundry by hand in my room.

I’m about to buy my washboard from Ace hardware $41.99 I use the same Zote bar soap, love washing my kitchen hand towels by hand. I still wash my bras in the sink too. Thank you for sharing.

I do my laundry at night,(hand washing ofc)And last night when i was hanging my clothes on our balcony (we live in an apartment),my neighbors told me something was dripping from above their balcony.And no, we dont have a large bathroom so we do laundry on the balcony.And our balcony didn't have a drain😳😳😳Sorry neighbors!
