As many if you know, I find it therapeutic to wash my own car. I definitely have been thinking about washing my Imola Red G80 M3 while i've been waiting for my car. In this video I take you along for the first wash. This is a raw video and in the next up coming series I step it up a notch.

In all my years of car washing people thought I was obsessed. It's good to know that there's people like me that appreciate the finer things in life. I will be doing the same thing when I get my M440i in 2 months. One thing I've noticed is that you do the inside compartment of where you fill the gas, never thought of it, thanks for the tip! I saw your post on bimmerpost few weeks ago. Ever since then you've been popping up on my IG, and I didn't realize this was the same car. So now going through your vids. I ordered my M3 Jahre edition May 31st and should have it in about 2 months, planning on getting PPF on entire front end, roof, maybe the entire car, not sure yet. Love that color! Great choice. Following now!

Great wash and talk! Imola red looks so good bro! Especially with that Beadmaker lol. Cool to see it on a newer generation car. Otherwise I would hardly ever see it. Once you have the house I know you'll have a dialed in setup.

That M3 comp is so niice!! I ordered a x3 M40i and car should be built last week of August. I specifically told my sales not to wash it but just do PDI. He typed it out on a paper to print out and put it in a folder.

Nice spec. Happy to see you stepped up to a G80. You did a great build on the f80. I liked that you had a nice clean look to it. Are you going to lower it?

I think you did a pretty good job bro. Wash and talk videos like this are enjoyable to watch. One suggestion would be to reverse the foam and rinse. Foam the car dry so the soap attaches to the dirt better. If you rinse before you are also diluting the foam even more. Then you rinse the foam off getting most of the dirt off. Then mitt wash with the soapy water with a much cleaner surface to help avoid swirls. This way you are not adding a step just different order. I learned this a few months ago and the testing is very eye opening to how effective applying foam to a dry car is.

Have you tried using sonax ultra slick detailer or anything other than bead maker to see what really is the best dry agent?

How much did you pay for the imola red? I didn't see them on website

Imola red is a BMW individual option. Which means it's a special ordered color. The individual colors vary in pricing I think they go from $4,500 to about $5,000

Love the detail that you put into this! Just got my allocation that I thought would take much longer. Looks like they had a pretty big allocation drop this month! Week 32 (august) scheduled. IOMG with tartufo with black 826m and red calipers for me 👍🏽

Such a sexy car and color!! Would you be able to make a self service bay car wash video for us that can’t wash at our complex? I know you have the F80 one from a while back, but from what I remember that one you were a bit in a rush so you mentioned you didn’t prep properly. It doesn’t have to be with your G80 maybe use your wife’s car?😅 I just want to see your process of how when you put coins to rinse or pre soak the car and all of that. Love the channel🤙🏼

Great way to look at the PCD delivery. The dealer will definitely try to push the back end stuff on you. I got wheel and tire, because I got it ok my last brand new car, last year, and used it within the first 6 months. I’ve never purchased it in the 31 previous cars I’ve owned, but it’s paid for itself, and just last week, I kissed the curb at the bank drive thru, in my M4 XDrive. I don’t think it’s bad enough to claim, it’s right on the top edge lip, that touches the tire. Not worth the hassle. And Beadmaker, eh, I have 2 gallons, and 1 and 1/2 gallon left. Try a bottle of Ethos D3fy and you’ll never go back to beadmaker. And Defy lasts months longer with beading, and it’s great on the windows, unlike beadmaker. I’ve been trying to get Matt to try it, but you know how that goes.

The only thing I added was the rim and tire insurance also. Just this week I ended up getting a screw in the rear driverside tire. So I'm on the way on getting my monies worth lol. I'll have to look into that product. Yeah im sure Matt gets messages or hears try this very often. The only thing about curbing the wheel is getting them to refinish it property that won't stand out tonthe other 3 wheels.

@@TheDailyDriven luckily, for me, the other car was my 21 Accord Touring. They’re like a split 5 spoke. Black wheels with a machined face, just like my 826m bicolor. I went to Honda, they filled out the claim paperwork, and just ordered a whole new wheel. And it was easily repairable. $511 on for the wheel and tire. My buddy is the finance director, got the Honda wheel and tire for cost. The wheel, with labor, was $624. Money well spent. I also pre-ordered the new Active 2.0. Can’t wait to use that beast.
