My 3rd great grandfather, Anthony Harn was stationed at Ft Steilacoom in the 1850s. Discharged in 1860. Homesteaded in Kent after that.

1864 reenlisted due to the Civil War. 3 kids born at Ft Steilacoom. Last one in 1862 then next one born in Kent in 1868.

Such a different life then. Good family history to know, if you like family genealogy, you might like the site Geni.com, you can make your own tree and it will link with others as it grows, I have one side back to the 1400's.

their extreme desire was the California Mexico border. The American extreme desire was up to Alaska. So I guess they both settled. Thank you for being a loyal subscriber and watching these videos.
